Breyers Chocolate Cheesecake Ice Cream is pretty good. If you like chocolate cheesecake, you will love this ice cream. The flavour is authentic, but I would have liked it better with crunchy bits in it (like graham crackers). My husband and I both agreed, while the ice cream is very smooth and creamy, it was missing some crunch. I did enjoy the chocolate swirl portion of the ice cream, but the cheesecake portion was a little overwhelming for me (I don't really like cheesecake). Breyers double churn is an excellent quality ice cream, I would just prefer another flavour.

Thanks Chick Advisor and Breyers for sending me the ice cream coupons! I had an ice cream party to taste some of the new flavours. I LOVED the Double Churn Chocolate Cheesecake ice cream from Breyers. It’s a good combination between chocolate and vanilla. You could really taste the cheesecake flavour too. I enjoyed that it wasn’t an overly strong flavour so you could easily have it on a dessert plate with something else. Similar to the other double churn flavours this one was also creamy and I could tell it was made with high-end ingredients. I’d recommend this to someone who liked more vanilla based ice creams over chocolate (which is me!).

P.S. Some people have been commenting about the price - I've noticed it on sale at several stores in the past week for $3.99 so I find that to be a great bargain.

I was selected to try Breyers Double Churn Chocolate Cheesecake from the Chick Advisor Review Club, along with Dark Chocolate Velvet and Banana Cream Pie.

This flavour was my second favorite! I loved the hint of cheesecake flavor, mixed with chocolate. It was not overly chocolately which I enjoyed. I did find that after a few bites,the cheesecake taste ended up tasting like plain chocolate and vanilla ice cream. However, it is so light and creamy that I still enjoyed it very much.
I think the flavor would be improved if they had added little chunks of cheesecake throughout the ice cream. I would recommend this flavor to anyone!

The Chocolate Cheesecake tasted average. It didn't taste much like Cheesecake. I was hoping it would have chunks of cheescake in it, but it didn't. It did however have a lighter chocolate taste. I don't think I'll consider purchasing it, unless the taste was more unique.

I was selected to sample this ice cream (along with Dark Chocolate Velvet and Banana Cream Pie) as a member of the Product Review Club. I received a sharing package with the coupons in the mail that included three little ice cream bowls and three sundae spoons. The packaging of this kit was absolutely adorable! I was super excited to try the ice cream once I had the kit in my hot little hands.

I have to say that the Chocolate Cheesecake was my least favourite of the three flavours. I was really disappointed. I love cheesecake, so I expected to love this. The cheesecake part of the ice cream was really tasty. It was light and smooth tasting. The chocolate part was terrible. I can't even describe what the combination tastes like other than just plain bad.

This ice cream would be heaven on earth if it was a fruit flavour with the cheesecake (raspberry, strawberry, mango, or something along those lines), but the chocolate combination is terrible.

This ice cream is not worth the $8.99 price tag. Very disappointing indeed.

I was quite disappointed with this one. I don't think I've ever tried a cheesecake ice cream and was very excited to, because I love cheesecake. But, I have to say, it was kind of gross! It basically tasted like pure cheese (frozen, with a little bit of ice cream chocolaty flavor). I would not buy it again and will likely try and pawn this tub off on my neighbor ;)

this is the second of the flavors that i have tried and i have to say it wasnt bad
it did taste like cream cheese mixed with coco but after awhile the flavor of the cheescake gets a little drowned out and its just like your eating chocolate and vanilla ice cream, but it was light and creamy not sickening like some can get, if it had more of a cream cheese taste it would have been a perfect 10 for me

So I tried the first of three, the reason I choose it was because I am a huge fan of cheesecake.
At first few bites, you can really taste the cheesecake, but about half way through you kind of stop tasting it and it kind of just tastes like choclate and vanilla..but other than that, I thought the ice cream was really, really good, it was very smoothe and not too rich or sweet. And the best thing I found about it, is because it's so thick, you feel satisfide with just a little bowl. I highly recomend a tub if you are planning on having a small crowd over for dinner and are looking for a simple but good dessert OR you are going through a harsh break up and are looking for some really good comfort food :)

I'm always excited for anything with the words "cheesecake" in the name. This was a bit disappointing though.

It's very creamy which is good, but the cheesecake bit is the white ice cream. Any cheescake flavouring there is completly overpowered by the chocolate. The chocolate flavour is good, but not worth the $8 . There's other chocolates available for a lower price. Wasn't anything fabulous.

What would make this flavour better - little chunks of actual cheesecake (the kind you find in most ice creams with the word "cheesecake" in the flavour name).

I love cheesecake, I had heard lots of good things about this ice cream, and usually anything with the word "cheesecake" in the name, I'll love.

this is the first time I've ever had an exception.


The flavor was alright, but It was just a mild chocolate. I didn't taste any cheesecake flavor in there at all.

For the price that it costs, Girls, I'd have to say pass this one up.
