I got this in Mocha Fudge Brownie. I love how smooth it is. I love that it doesn't melt super fast like other low fat ice creams and doesn't freeze rock hard like many ice creams.

I found it a little sweet but I liked it that ways. Ribbons for mocha and chunks of fudge tasted great. I'm glad I could find a flavour like this that is less fat than normal

The flavour that I tried was the Mocha Fudge Brownie. Im usually not a fan of chocolatey flavours, however the "Mocha" part lured me in, and I must say I was extremely impressed. The ice cream tasted rich and delacent, it was hard to believe that it was actually *light* and good for you. The flavour actually tasted like BROWNIE, not simply that artificial chocolate taste that most ice cream flavours encompass. I brought this to my best friends "girls night" and the three of us managed to finish the whole tub, without feeling the cognitive guilt after. This ice cream is PERFECT for those hard breakups, it makes everything better(without having to pack on the pounds) and heightens your chances to meeting cute boys! I would recommend this product to friends, however I think the price tag is a little too steep to make it a regular purchase. $7.99 for a tub of ice cream seems unreasonable, even if it is half the fat. I would make this a special occassion purchase, not my regular ice cream (unless I win this weeks LottoMax!)

3. Compared to full fat/full calorie ice cream, how did you enjoy this ice cream? It was great with half the fat - there wasn't much of a difference from normal ice cream. 1 scoop and it was satisfying for the sweet tooth.

4. Would you recommend this product to friends and/or will you buy it again? I have recommended it and shared it with friends and family at my bbq. They really enjoyed the taste as well.

Overall great product, great taste and of course the ice cream scoop was an added bonus!

Thank you Chickadvisor.com and Breyers.ca for sending me a beautiful green ice cream scoop and a free product coupon (FPC) for a 1.89L tub of Breyers Smooth & Dreamy Ice Cream. At the request of my family I picked up Strawberries & Cream from The Real Canadian Superstore. The product sells for ~ $7.89 CAD.

What is unique about this ice cream? Well, the proprietary Cream Press System splits the cream into ultra fine molecules which allows the droplets of cream to expand at its maximal capacity in the freezer. The Smooth & Dreamy ice cream collection still has the same wholesome taste of regular ice cream but half the fat. 1/2 cup (125 mL) of the Smooth and Dreamy ice cream is only 120 calories!

After cracking the lid open I instantly fell in love with the appearance of the marbleized ice cream, and aromatic smell of vanilla and strawberry. The Strawberry & Cream is a vanilla flavored ice cream surrounded by freshly pureed pink strawberry swirls. I am happy to report that the ice cream is thoroughly consistent in taste and texture.

I was further amazed by how fluffy, and scoop-able the ice cream is. I find regular ice creams rock-hard and difficult to scoop, but I wasn't met with the same challenge with the Smooth & Dreamy product.

The Smooth & Dreamy ice cream doesn't taste like bland low-fat or “diet” ice creams. My family and I were extremely pleased with the smoothness and richness of the Strawberry & Cream ice cream. The ice cream is refreshingly flavorful and completely satisfying. Although, I personally found the product is a bit sweeter than other regular ice creams.

Nevertheless, Strawberry & Cream is premium quality ice cream that I have recommended to friends and co-workers. I have already re-purchased the Strawberry & Cream flavor for the hot summer months ahead.

this ice cream was pretty good considering its so light! my sisters were fooled and i thot it only tasted slightly not-as-amazing as regular, fattening ice cream. i tried the mocha fudge flavor, the brownie chunks were sooo good! they rivaled the one's DQ puts in blizzards i thot! the ice cream was smooth and creamy and totally satisfying!

I received a coupon to try new Breyers Smooth and Dreamy ice cream. As an ice cream lover I was excited to be able to be a tester of this new ice cream. I decided to try the Mocha Fudge Brownie flavour. It didn't taste like a low fat ice cream to me, it was creamy and I loved the brownie pieces in it.
My husband also tried it but he didn't really like the coffee/fudge flavour. The price of this product was a bit steep at $7.99, compared to other ice creams. If it was on sale I might buy this again and I would recommend it to my friends/family.

I have reviewed this product thanks to the Chickadvisor Review Club and truly enjoyed my experience... I had to try a few different supermarkets though to find one that actually carried it (yes, it is that new on the market!!!) and got to try the Mocha Brownie Fudge flavour....I would like to think of myself as an ice cream conoisseur as I eat ice cream on a daily basis (I know, it's bad) but it is one my biggest guilty pleasures and I wouldn't change it for the world. Even before the product was up for review, I knew about its arrival via magazine & web site ads... So, I was thrilled when I got picked to test it for free!!! Overall, I would give a strong 8 out of 10 for this ice cream. In my opinion, it does taste a bit sweeter than the regular, full fat ice-creams, which is the reason why I give an 8 instead of a 10. I will be buying this on a regular basis from now on. I feel less guilty having a low fat ice cream without sacrifing my tastebuds. So, two thumbs up from me...Oh yes, the price is a little steep but thinking about all the calories you are saving ladies, it is definitely worth it....

I received the coupon for the review club and immediately went out to search for the icecream. At first i had trouble finding this relatively new product from Breyers but eventually snagged it from Shoppers. I am glad that i had the coupon because it had an advertised price of $9 and change and i felt that this was pretty steep for icecream. I bought the strawberrries and cream variety at the request of my 10 year old daughter. we got it home and scooped it out of the container with the new icecream scoop that came with the coupon (THANKS) and sat down to give it a whirl.

First, i would like to say that i seldom eat icecream because being in my early thirties my diet has started to be a concern. But my daughter loves icecream and i seem to be dishing it out to her on a regular basis all the while craving it but behaving myself. To my delight this icecream boosts that it is an icecream with half the fat than regular icecream and i fear that this is why it was priced to so high in the first place.

To my amazement in taking the first spoonful of the icecream my daughter and i had huge smiles on our faces. Hers because truthfully she is loving the flavour and me because i can hardly believe that they have scimped on the fat content of the icecream but it really doesn't taste that way. My daughter thought that it was just the "bomb" and i have to agree. She suggested that we hide the icecream in the back of the freezer so that her dad didn't get ahold of it and eat it all on us......and i did!

Selfish? Maybe, but he can get his own. I seldom eat icecream but i will be eating this own without guilt, and more than likely i will be buying more. The price sucks but it's the little pleasure in life that keep us going right?

I got the coupon for this from the review club and decided to try the Vanilla Carmel Chip ice cream bars. I love ice cream and did not want to be disappointed with something that I assumed would taste bad or like nothing, but I thought it was really good! If I didnt know better I would assume it was regular ice cream, the taste was very similar... so as a low calorie alternative it was really good. I would definitley recommed it to friends and I have. A lot of my friends are health concious or are on diets (including me), so this is something that we can enjoy while having the piece of mind its not all going straight to the thighs. I don't know if I would buy it again though, only if it was on sale. I found the product too expensive for my liking :) But overall a good choice if you are looking for a low calorie treat.

I couldn't wait to try the new Smooth and Dreamy ice cream by Breyers so I was very excited to receive my coupon and ice cream scoop from the Product Review Club. I finally decided on the chocolate flavour and rushed home to try it. I was hooked by the first spoonful, it was so creamy and full of flavour. I was pleasantly surprised by how much it tasted like full fat ice cream. I've tried a lot of different light and low fat ice cream and I'm usually always left with the same feeling, that something is lacking. For the first time I didn't feel this way at all with the Smooth and Dreamy ice cream. I felt satisfied and guilt free! I even gave this to a family member and didn't reveal that it was a light ice cream until after he had finished it and he was so surprised, he would of never of known if I hadn't told him! I will continue to purchase this ice cream only if it goes on sale which was the only fault I could give this product. At my local store it was pricing at $8.69 which I found very expensive especially for the tub size (1.89l). I just find that too pricey, at almost $10 I could make a whole meal for my family! I would love to see them come out with a mint chocolate chip flavour in the future, if they do and it goes on sale then I'll be thrilled.
