we use this at my house andlike it. only issue i have with it that others also have are the little black things floating in our water from the filter. we have tried changing the filter thinking maybe it was a defect but wasnt. happens all the time.

Since our city decided to wreck our water by chlorinating it, water filters have been a godsend. Britas are pretty pricey though for the quality you get. One thing I don't like is how LONG it takes to fill up. You have to stand there and wait for it to go through the filter before adding more water. Ours also started to leak by the handle after a month or two, hence the 2 stars for quality. The water tastes great, but unfortunately the pitcher itself isn't awesome. There are lots of other brands out there now that I would sooner buy over a Brita replacement.

This is a good pitcher, but once you've used it for a while it starts getting mossy at the bottom which is a big concern to me. I have stopped using the one we have.

The slim water pitcher fits on the door! Its great. We only use the brita for distilled water and having a slim pitcher that doesn't take up the entire fridge is great.
