100% OF CHICKS DIG IT
The most important thing to know about this blood pressure monitor is that’s it’s really easy to use. My first concern when I saw it and read the manual (which is a thick little booklet) was that it would be hard to use or confusing to read, but it’s actually a one-button setup that anyone could use.
To take your blood pressure, you put the monitor on your wrist (the strap is very adjustable and made wiht velcro) and then hold you wrist at about the same height as your heart and press the On button. That’s it. It starts taking your blood pressure right away, and only takes maybe twenty seconds.
The strap itself doesn’t dig into your wrist too badly, and it isn’t painful like some of the ones you use on your upper arm. It gives you your results after fifteen/twenty seconds, and even has a little bar indicating where your pressure puts you on a risk of good to bad blood pressure.
The other great thing is that the monitor stores up to 99 readings automatically, and then deletes older ones as new ones come in. This means you can keep an eye on your blood pressure over time, and even identify when and where you blood pressure started to climb (or fall). It’s even rechargeable by USB, so no need to go through batteries
I don’t have much at all to say against this product, but I will mention that the instruction booklet does not have perfect English translations, and sometimes has spelling mistakes. It’s also quite complicated for such a simple device, and I think that the two other buttons (M and S) could be labelled differently to better indicate what it is they do. But those are minor issues for me. Overall I find this device works very well, and is a good thing to have in the house for your health and your family’s.
This is especially good for me, as the stress of a doctor's visit shoots my blood pressure up, so taking it at home gives a more accurate reading for me.
