This was my favourite chocolate bar of the three free bars sent to me. The blueberries and acai added a nice flavour to the dark chocolate but didn't make it too sweet. The chocolate was very rich and creamy which made it easy to be satisfied after only a few bites.

I received this product to try from ChickAdvisor. Since hubby and I both enjoy trying new things, I shared with him to also get an "outsiders" opinion.

The packaging is pretty decent and eye catching. The chocolate itself is divided into little sections so if you only wanted a couple pieces it's easy to break off a couple and put the rest away for later.

The almonds give it a nice little crunch, and the fruit pieces added some different textures. The dark chocolate was pretty strong in flavour in my opinion. That combined with the almonds, it's all I tasted. I was a little disappointed as when I saw it was blueberry flavour, I got pretty excited. My husband also said the same thing. It was good, but lacked the flavour. Maybe both of us had our tastebuds a little off that day, it's hard to say.

It was a good chocolate bar and depending on the price, I may be willing to give this flavour another try to see if maybe it tastes different.

I loved the packaging for this chocolate tablet bar. I thought the outer cardboard wrapping was cute how it unfolded. I also liked how the foil was blue to match with the blueberry flavor. The chocolate bar itself is nicely divided so you can have several squares, a regular square or even a small square. Great for sharing!
The blueberry flavor wasn't my favourite. I found the flavour was a little overpowering of the chocolate, almond and acai flavour. I thought it was almost fake tasting.
I enjoyed the slight crunch of the almond pieces. I did not taste any acai flavour as I only tasted blueberry.

Overall, this chocolate tablet bar was alright. I would not spend my own money on this particular flavour in the future. But I would suggest to my family and friends to give it a try as some would enjoy it.

When I received this I thought it would be just another chocolate bar but it exceeded all expectations! It was like a flavour explosion in my mouth with a mixture of unique tastes and textures. It was something I have never tasted before in a chocolate bar and made me wanting to come back for more! I loved the sweet berry and nut combo!

The dark chocolate is not overpowering. I love the slight crunch of the almond. The flavours are perfect!

Sophisticated flavours for every agar groups chocolate needs. I will definitely buy this bar in the future as a treat for myself and I might even share with family and friends or not....try it for yourself you won't regret it.

I received the Brookside Chocolate Tablet Bar in Blueberry Almond with Acai Flavour for free to try out and review as part of the Chick Advisor Product Review Club. This bar tasted so good! I really enjoyed this flavour and the texture of the chocolate was just perfect. I found the flavour to be very unique compared to other chocolate bars currently on the market. It is definitely a higher quality product. My chocolate craving was definitely satisfied with this bar. I will definitely be purchasing this again and would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends.

Out of the three, this one was the bf's favourite and a tie for first for me (along with the Tart Cherry Crisp).

The dark chocolate mixed with the fruit is the perfect combination of sweet. The chocolate isn't overpowering, and the blueberries and açai add a sweetness that plays well with the slight bitter taste of the dark chocolate.

It satisfies a chocolate craving and a craving for something else that you didn't realize you wanted.

I received the Brookside blueberry almond acai dark chocolate bar to try as part of the Chickadvisor Product Review Club. If you love dark chocolate and fruit with your chocolate than this bar is for you! The packaging is great to tuck away the rest of your bar for later. Also,love the cuts into the bar so it's easy to break off little pieces to share or to nibble yourself. Truly love the richness of the flavour and the texture was lovely for dark chocolate with fruit, not too sweet, just right!

I just received my Brookside chocolate bars today! Can't wait to try them....all of them....tonight! Will update once I've tasted :)
