Out of all of the new Brookside tablet bars, this is my favourite flavour. I love the texture of the blueberries and the contrasting crunch of the almonds. I also like that this was dark chocolate, so it made me feel like I was making a healthier choice.

I love the Brookside chocolate covered fruit, so this was pretty close to the same, but in a bar with more chocolate.

This was my favourite flavour of the 3 that I tried! Super delicious, a good amount of nuts in there! All the pieces of fruit and nuts are really finely chopped which is unique and I actually enjoyed that, but if you're one who likes nut bars for the big crunch and chunks it doesn't have that!

The smell on this one is overpowering, the chocolate and blueberry in my mind do not complement as well as some of the other flavors out there. I like the presentation of the chocolate and imprint on the bar. I would only buy this bar if none of the other Brookside varieties were available. Got this as a sample from Brookside

A smooth dark chocolate with no bitter after taste enrobing bits of almond and morsels of blueberry with Acai flavoring. The bar itself is a nice size and not too thick. Beautifully stamped, its a great addition to the Brookside family of chocolates.

The chocolate quality was great! The dark chocolate makes it seem more luxurious. The packaging is appealing and seems more high-end than your typical chocolate bar.

The unique flavour of blueberry, almond and acai was really nice, although i found the almond pieces a bit too small, so it seemed like there wasn't as much. It was still really good though and I couldn't stop eating it!

The price of the bar of chocolate was a bit on the higher side that I'm used to, but I would probably indulge once in a while when I get that craving!

I recently had an opportunity to try Brookside Chocolate Bar Blueberry Almond with Acai for free. Besides myself, I had everyone in my immediate family try a piece. We all love a good chocolate bar. Everyone agreed that it had just the right amount of sweetness for a dark chocolate bar and the blueberry didn't make it too chewy. There are also almonds mixed in to give it a little crunch. Everyone in my family enjoyed this chocolate bar. This one was my favorite, only because I really like blueberries and eat them often. I plan to purchase again.

I received this tablet free in the mail to review. I enjoyed it, tastes much like the clusters of the same flavor Which I give to my grand children when they visit.The chocolate was as usual smooth and the flavor is deep and delicious. Didn't notice the crunches very much.. The packaging is over kill . Colourful sealed plastic inside a cardstock sort of envelope with fancy blue metallic squares with white words. No indication if it was recycled paper or if it could be recycled .I would like to see that the company is environmentally friendly. At $3.69 I think the price is comparable to other tablets of this size. I will buy this flavor tablet.

I tried it this week - the taste is obviously very similar to the usual little Brookside blueberry and açai dark chocolate "balls" we're used to seeing but the almond give a nice little crunch to the tablet bar. I think I like this version better, as the blueberry and açai is less overwhelming and the almond adds texture and a slight nuttiness.

I got a bar of this chocolate sent to me from Chick Advisor for free. I really enjoyed this flavor. It was my favorite out of the 3 they sent me. You couldn't really taste the blueberry in it but it was sweet. I ate the whole thing which I shouldn't have, but it was so darn good. I would definitely buy this again.

Got to try this free from ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I see that I'm experiencing a delicious chocolate-high from sampling the goods as I write this. Of the 3 flavours I tried this is one that didn't have Rice Krispies but instead almond pieces so this flavour would be a more mindfully healthy choice. If you've tried the Brookside blueberry acai in the packets of round chocolate pieces it tastes the same as this but without the giant candy pieces (this has tiny shreds of the fruitiness mixed in). With this bar you can break it into little sections and the bar form looks more high-end compared to the chocolate bites version.
Comparing this flavour to the other two I think this one has more of a dark chocolate taste. It still lacks the bitterness and grittiness that I've tasted with other brands though making this one the best. Because it's less sweet than milk chocolate I found I ate it more slowly and enjoyed it over time rather than mindlessly scarfing down a milk chocolate checkout line bar. I'm enjoying the experience and tasting it in little bits throughout the day.
It's a chocolate bar a grown woman can feel good buying. I feel like it's a form of therapy putting me in a good mindset.
