I received this chocolate bar for free, thanks to Chickadvisor!

Honestly, this chocolate bar is pretty average. It has Brookside's signature blueberry flavour thoughout. I just wish it was more subtle. It might be too strong for some to enjoy. I also wish there were a tad bit more almond pieces.

Thank you Chickadvisor for giving me the opportunity to review this product. This was a delicious chocolate bar! I loved the blueberry mixed in and the texture. It tasted like a high end chocolate bar. It was a very yummy treat and I will be buying it again in the future!

first of all, the texture of the chocolate is playful, you get some crunch and chewy. im not allergic to almonds or any nuts but i dont eat them on my chocolate, especially the kind where a whole piece of almond is just sitting in the middle of the chocolate. i do not like that. when i first read the name i was like, 'oh! well, let's see how this goes'... plus, blueberries are not my thing, they are good in muffins but for my chocolate, hell no. when i took a bite it was surprisingly good! and almond pieces, like more of a rice crispies just a little bit better, MIND BOGGLING and i cant stop eating this! i love this to death!

Just like the other two dark chocolate tablet bars Brookside there was a smooth consistency that although melted in your mouth did not melt when I'm picking it up which is really convenient for carrying around. I love how flavors of the acai and blueberry bring sourness in contrast to the bitterness of the dark chocolate. The crunchiness of the almonds definitely made this bar even more scrumptious.

Thank you Chickadvisor for giving me the opportunity to review this product. Like the other Brookside bars, the chocolate is rich and smooth. I do think that the chocolate is good quality. However, I feel that there are too many flavours going on with this particular product. All I taste is blueberry so it reminds me of chocolate covered blueberries. I hardly taste the almonds and I detect a bit of sourness which is probably from the acai.

Also, the texture isn't as crispy as the other bars. I find the flavour overly complicated and the texture to not be as crisp. As a result, this was my least favourite out of the flavours I was given and would probably not purchase it in the future.

I received three Brookside dark chocolate bars from ChickAdvisor to review. This one is the darkest of the bunch, with the almonds lending it a smooth, melt-in-your-mouth, marzipan-y bitterness. The berries are subtle, giving it an almost tea-like aroma. It lacks the chewiness of the other two bars, but the small almond chunks make the texture just as exciting.:) Unlike with the other two, the additional flavors in this one are a secondary accord meant to complement the chocolate and amplify its richness. It will satisfy even the pickiest dark chocolate lovers with its deep and complex aftertaste.
As for the packaging, the sturdy cardboard box and the additional wrapper underneath are very luxurious and fit for a high-end product. I love that the asymmetrical chocolate blocks are stamped with the Brookside logo and different patterns, it gives the chocolate an artisanal feel. Each bar retails for $ 3.69, which I find reasonable for premium chocolate!

This was good. It reminds me of Brookside Acai blueberry chocolate balls but better, less sweet. I can taste the almond in every bite. Would have liked some more blueberry flavour. I would buy this. I still loved the mango a lot more, but would get this for variety.

The Brookside Blueberry Almond Chocolate bar is a fine tasting bar. The chocolate is tasty and the blueberry almond adds a very nice flavor.

I got this product for free as a part of the review club! Love the texture, the dry fruits makes it feel that even though you're enjoying a decadent treat you are still good because you know is dark chocolate. Perfect amount of Crunch and smoothness, makes for a great combination

To me, this tasted just like Brookstone’s Açai & Blueberry Flavors, but in bar form. There was a nice snap to the bar (instead of the chewy texture of the previously mentioned candies), likely with the almonds, and the flavour is definitely unique with the mix of berries and chocolate. The dark chocolate itself is rich and smooth.

In my opinion it’s great to fulfill any sweet cravings after a meal – I like how the bar has different sizes of squares so you can snap off just the right amount of chocolate. The price is great relative to other chocolate bars of this quality, and for its unique taste, I would definitely consider buying these again or gifting them to friends and family.
