Chocolate is a little bitter but the combination of blueberry and acai evens out nicely. I like the crunch of the almonds but the taste could be a little more defined. Flavour is unique and satisfying.

I had the opportunity to try this chocolate bar courtesy of ChickAdvisor. I had a couple of friends, as well as my husband, try it with me. It was the favourite flavour of one friend, and the rest of us felt that it had a nice flavour as well. I very much liked the smooth creamy texture of the chocolate use to create this product. It was not at all waxy which is something very important to me when choosing a chocolate treat to indulge in!

I was exited to be chosen to be apart of this taste testing. The chocolate bars exceeded my expectations. I liked them all!!! My favourite was the Brookside Chocolate Tablet Bar in Tart Cherry Crisp with Pomegranate Flavour. My second favourite was Brookside Chocolate Tablet Bar in Blueberry Almond with Açai Flavour and my third was Brookside Chocolate Tablet Bar in Mango Coconut Crunch. Eating them was a true joy and I will be buying tart cherry soon! The blueberry almond with acai flavor was a very nice rich chocolate. The flavor would pair nice with a nice wine and cheese.

I love dark chocolate so when hearing about Brookside dark chocolate bars, I jumped for joy. The blueberry Almond with Acai flavor was tastier than I first thought. The pretty packaging inside the box already gave me the impression that this would be high quality chocolate. The acai berry was more dominant than that of the blueberry but overall, the flavor is quite refreshing and nothing like anything else on the market. A slight after taste than really isn't all that bad, but it does linger for a bit.

Chocolate has always been a comfort food to me, and until I tested Brookside Dark chocolate bars I didn't care what the bars I ate were.
And then I tasted BROOKSIDE chocolate bars!! AMAZING - I will NEVER go back to random bars!!
Made with dark chocolate (a more healthy chocolate), and coming in multiple flavours, Brookside bars will undoubtedly become many people's bar of choice.
I have tasted these bars 1.) TART CHERRY CRISP - with POMEGRANATE flavour'.
2.) BLUEBERRY ALMOND - with ACAI flavour
3.) MANGO COCONUT CRISP

I LOVE EACH AND EVERY ONE! When you take off the package, the tinfoil underneath is beautiful and resembles gift wrap - a delightful surprise. And then you taste the bar...smooth delicious dark chocolate, and then the wonderful taste sensation of the fruit inside. In fact, though my husband WASN'T a fan of dark chocolate before - now he is! I almost had to negotiate to get any of my bars back.

I tried the Brookside Chocolate Tablets through the product review club, and I'm so glad I was selected for this! I have a weakness for dark chocolate and the Brookside bars were incredible! The quality of the chocolate is definitely high end. The blueberry and almond bits add a nice texture and flavour without overwhelming the taste of the chocolate itself. I've been indulging in a piece a day after dinner, and it's so hard not to take more than one piece. I've even reluctantly shared them with my husband, and he loved them too! The blueberry almond combo goes well together, and I'm planning on picking up a bunch of bars this weekend to share them with some friends.

In the past I tried the cranberry one (but not in bar). I would say that I love black chocolate for their proprieties.

I tried this one at first, because it was the one that attracted me the most. I was very surprised of the fine taste of the product. Not too much sugar, it was very good. The almond in it makes the product à little bit crunchy and I liked it.

The packaging is practical and very classy. It’s very handy that we could take the chocolate by square so we don’t have to eat too much!

As an avid chocolate covered fruit and nut lover, I was excited to try this bar. The dark chocolate is nice and creamy and not bitter (which you find with a lot of really dark chocolates) and the flavours are sweet and natural tasting. The almond gives it a nice rich flavour that mixes very well with the sweetness of the fruit and chocolate.
The only issue I had was the blueberry pieces were very sticky and would get stuck on my teeth. It was awkward trying to pick pieces off my teeth.

I was one of the lucky ones chosen to test this and I'm surprised at how much I'm loving it. I'm not a chocolate fan but this is amazing. The blueberry flavour is really nice. Can't taste the almond and acai though.

I love Brookside chocolates. They have a high quality product that never ceases to amaze me. This particular flavour is good. I mostly just take the blueberry and chocolate but I love the crunch the almond gives to it. The bar has several textures which is a nice change from other chocolate bars. I love that the new bars come in different coloured foil packaging inside a cardboard sleeve. I find it super cute and fun to open.
