really enjoyed this chocolate bar. its super yummy, and i love the blueberry flavour

This chocolate bar was really good! The different flavor combination worked really well together! You could definitely taste the blueberry and açai, but I never noticed much of an almond flavor. The dark chocolate wasn't overpowering the other flavors, which I really enjoyed. Normally I'm not a fan of dark chocolate, but this was amazing!

The dark chocolate itself was so smooth and creamy. It just melted in your mouth. The bits of fruit added in changed the texture, but in a good way. When you bit into a fruit bit, the flavor burst in your mouth, then the dark chocolate followed.

The blueberry almond with açai definitely left me wanting another piece! I literally could not stop eating it! You can have quite a few pieces and not feel guilty about it, which makes this chocolate bar that much more amazing!

I definitely recommend this! If you haven't tried it yet, go out and buy a bar.. right now!

Delicious! The chocolate was creamy and not at all bitter which I find most dark chocolate to be. The blueberries were fresh and full of flavour. Almond flavour was not overpowering. I found it to be a bit chewy though. I enjoyed it quite a bit.

This bar is definitely my favorite of the three. The almonds add an amazing nutty taste and a fantastic crunch that I just can't get enough of. I don't feel guilty knowing that it is dark chocolate and as healthy as chocolate gets. The chocolate has deep, rich flavors mixed in with the fruity combination of acai and blueberry. Nuts, fruits and chocolate make this the perfect decadent treat.

It is definitely a different class of chocolate bar from your cheap old regular candy bars. It has lots of delicious flavour. It tastes similar to Brookside's chocolate-covered blueberry candies, but with the added crunch of almond. As with all three bars, the quality of chocolate was pleasing - it was smooth and not too hard. And not bitter at all, considering it's dark chocolate.
I wish that either the box or inner packaging was resealable, though, as the bars are too big and too rich to eat in one sitting (although I could do it if I was forced).
I would definitely splurge on this again for a treat or gift.

I received this chocolate bar for free so I could taste it and write a review. All four people in my family tasted the Brookside Chocolate Tablet Bar in Blueberry Almond with Açai Flavour. Three out of four of us chose this bar to be our favourite out of the three bars we tasted. The chocolate was smooth and silky. The berries added a nice chewy texture and they really added a nice flavour to the bar. The sweetness of the bar was a little too sweet for me, but the rest of the family thought it was just right.

The chocolate is the star. Smooth velvety dark chocolate. Good amount of blueberry, but I didn't find any almonds in my test bar. Would choose this over regular milk chocolate, but I would only purchase if it were on a good sale.

I still can't believe this is a dark chocolate bar! I have not been a total dark chocolate convert yet, because they are usually far too bitter for me and that just takes the pleasure away from eating chocolate. However, a Brookside manages to make a dark chocolate bar that satisfies my chocolate cravings and is healthier than most! I usually buy Brookside's dark chocolate soft fruit flavoured centres in açai and blueberry flavours so I am familiar with their products. This was definitely different than those and had a more subtle blueberry flavour. I loved the almond pieces in the bar; they tasted almost like nougat pieces and created a wonderful texture. I have no self-control so I ate half a bar in one sitting! It was that good! Plus, the packaging is very well put together and makes me feel like I am eating quality chocolate. This is definitely my favorite flavour from the three flavours they have in the bars.
