I received this bar from chick advisor along with two others and this one is by far the BEST of the three and probably the best dark chocolate blueberry almond bar I've had!

The texture is prefect. The blueberries are the prefect size not making the bar chewy and keeping with the crunch of the almonds which are also the prefect size! The flavours blend perfectly together. My family including my 4 year old son sampled this after dinner and we all agreed it was heavenly!

I received three chocolate bars to review Mango Coconut Crunch,Blueberry Almond with Acai Flavor and Tart Cherry Crisp with Pomegranate Flavor.I enjoyed all three tremendously.My favorite was the Mango Coconut Crunch.

Some feedback Chickadvisor and Brookside are wanting to know are:

1)-What aspect of Brookside chocolates was particularly appealing to you (e.g. texture, flavors, chocolate quality, etc:
The texture of all three bars were really good and all very different.This Blueberry Almond with Acai Flavor had real fruit and toasted almonds which I loved.There were lots of dried Blueberries in each mouthful which was delicious.I wish the almonds were just a bit bigger as I love nuts through chocolate bars but you defiantly can taste the roasted almond taste that blended nicely with the blueberry and Acai.The quality was very apparent and I love the dark chocolate taste which is so rich and flavorful.

2)-How unique did you find the flavors of each chocolate bar?
All three flavors were very unique and very different as I mentioned above.The dried fruit throughout the bar was very different and really added flavor.I would not feel guilty eating this chocolate bar after reading the ingredients.A nice treat.

3)-Was your craving and indulgence satisfied after eating Brookside Chocolates?
Yes my craving and indulgence was extremely satisfied.The bars are very big and last awhile.Also the combination of fruits,nuts and the rich creamy dark chocolate really is a nice indulgence.

4)-How does this chocolate compare to the chocolates you usually purchase?
This chocolate is way better quality you can taste the difference and the ingredients speak for them-self.Other chocolate bars are usually sickly sweet and so artificial tasting.These are good quality and very affordable you dont have to pay a fortune for quality.

5)-Would you consider buying these chocolates again and/or buy them as a gift for a friend?
Yes I will be buying these chocolates again for myself.Also for my boyfriend(who I shared a little with and he loved it!)also for family and friends.The presentation is very cute how these bars are wrapped in colored foil.

This bar is amazing! It has the perfect mix of dark chocolate, nuts and blueberry flavour. I love the crunch from the almonds, it adds great dimension. It's just sweet enough and all the flavours shine through perfectly. The only downside is that it's so good I almost ate the whole bar in one sitting ;)

Needless to say I will be buying this bar often!

Out of the three, this one was the bf's favourite and a tie for first for me (along with the Tart Cherry Crisp).

The dark chocolate mixed with the fruit is the perfect combination of sweet. The chocolate isn't overpowering, and the blueberries and açai add a sweetness that plays well with the slight bitter taste of the dark chocolate.

It satisfies a chocolate craving and a craving for something else that you didn't realize you wanted.

I received the Brookside blueberry almond acai dark chocolate bar to try as part of the Chickadvisor Product Review Club. If you love dark chocolate and fruit with your chocolate than this bar is for you! The packaging is great to tuck away the rest of your bar for later. Also,love the cuts into the bar so it's easy to break off little pieces to share or to nibble yourself. Truly love the richness of the flavour and the texture was lovely for dark chocolate with fruit, not too sweet, just right!

Dark chocolate and blueberries - can it get any better? Hubby and I enjoyed this bar after dinner and it was heavenly. The blueberries were juicy and chewy and made the bar a slight bit sticky, something just a little bit different and oh so yummy! We devoured the whole thing in one sitting.

I just received my Brookside chocolate bars today! Can't wait to try them....all of them....tonight! Will update once I've tasted :)

Great taste, I have tried this flavour before from other Brookside chocolate. The dark chocolate and the acai flavour blends well and the almonds adds a little crunch! I definitely have a chocolate sweet-tooth and this flavour satisfies those cravings.

I also appreciate the packaging the chocolate comes in. Simple and easy to wrap back up for storage.

Oh this is the best bar ever!
Creamy dark chocolate (not too bitter), blueberries (but not to big to make it "chewy". The acai flavour blends beautifully in harmony and the almond gives this bar a wonderful nutty twist.
The flavours compliment each other so well! I am in love!

Brookside has in my opinion cornered the market on dark chocolate bars,, this bar with the blueberry, almond and acai berry flavor is just fantastic,,, the dark chocolate is just soo yummy, and with the added flavor of the blueberry which is just the right amount of flavor ,, So I totally recommend these Brookside Dark Chocolate Bars..
