Omg I am so excited that Brookside has come out with their yummy creations in a chocolate bar form.

I love the packaging and the details. Once you open up the box, the bar is wrapped in a lovely and shiny blue wrapper. I would like it if there was a way to open and then reseal the box easily. And when you open the wrapper you see the images of Brookside's logo printed on each individual chocolate bars.

The first bite. Oh yum! I love how the dark chocolate is balanced just perfectly with the dried sweetened blueberries. And the almonds gives the chocolate an added texture. The flavours go well together, would like it if there was a little more blueberries, otherwise it is perfect. You can definitely taste the crushed up almonds with each bite. I think the acai flavour is very light, so much so that you don't really notice it.

I received this full sized bar from Chickadvisor. This is not your normal chocolate. The chocolate is pleasant and creamy, each piece is the right flavouring Acai flavour is there but the star is the blueberry that makes it for me. I ate about half a bar after dinner.

I love chocolate! Dark chocolate is not my favourite, I normally eat it because it has more antioxidants and healthier than milk chocolate but this bar will be my go to for dark chocolate. The chocolate is a rich dark chocolate and the almonds pieces add nice crisp and chewiness to it. Normally dark chocolate can taste bitter and overwhelming but this bar is sweet and its not bitter at all.

I received the Brookside Chocolate Tablet Bar Blueberry/Almond with Acai Flavour as part of the Chick-Advisor Product Review Club. I really enjoyed eating the whole chocolate bar. I'm not a huge fan of dark chocolate but the rich dark chocolate and combining it with Blueberry Almond with Açai Flavour was a great combination. It wasn't overtly sweet and the blueberry had a slight tangy flavour. the only comment is I wished that the almond pieces were a little bigger. The more expensive chocolate bars have seen a similar flavour mix as this but definitely I consider a high quality of chocolate and would definitely give away as presents to my friend.

Out of the three bars I received this one was my least favourite which surprised me since I thought it would be the best one. I found the combination wasn't too good because one overpowered the other. It was good but prefer the other flavours.

If you like fruit with your chocolate I recommend giving this tablet a try.

This was probably my least favourite of the three Brookside bars. Like the others, being dark chocolate, it wasn't overly sweet which I enjoyed. The fruit in this one added a bit of a tart flavour which was nice. I found though that the blueberry was a bit sticky / gummy and got stuck in my teeth which took away from my enjoying it. I also found the almond to be underwhelming. It was a good bar, but I probably wouldn't run out to buy another in this flavour.

I received this beautiful bar free from Chickadvisor. I was immediately impressed by how pretty the presentation was after opening the bar. Of the three I received, this was my least favourite, although I enjoyed it. I just preferred the others. I found the fruit a little on the tart side. It was a nice treat, and would be great for a blueberry lover.

too sweet too many flavors, not my cup of tea when it comes to chocolate. The texture was nice and I did like how soft and chewy the fruits are but it was just too sweet for my liking

We have a chocolate lovers winner in our household now thanks to Brookside chocolate tablets in 3 varieties. My son is loving these, death by chocolate love for soothing the soul after a hard day of high school.

I love the Brookside dark chocolate blueberry Almond with acai flavor. It has an ambrosia taste, the blueberry bursts into your mouth with every bite. The flavour is delightful, great mixture with the small bits of almonds in the bar, the hint of acai flavour is not tasted but knowing its in the bar makes me think that even a small bite of chocolate is good for you and that its a great antioxidant, you don't feel guilt eating a piece of chocolate from this company. Great tasting bar with a lot of goodness added.

This flavour was by far my favourite and is the same quality as some other fine dark chocolate brands. It had a crunch to it with a smooth texture. It wasn't too sweet nor too bitter, so satisfied my sugar craving perfectly without feeling any guilt. The blueberry almond flavour was mild so I didn't get overwhelmed by a fruity taste.
