I received this bar courtesy of ChickAdvisor in exchange for my honest review. This is a classic Brookside flavor profile, and tastes a lot like their little chocolate-covered blueberry and acai berry bites. The addition of almonds is great for a variation in texture. The dark chocolate is not too bitter nor too sweet. The packaging is lovely and feels luxurious. Definitely a nice little treat!

As a participant in the ChickAdviser group I received this chocolate bar at no cost. Because it was a cold day I let the box sit to allow the chocolate to warm up. I opened the Blueberry Almond first figuring it would be among the flavours I preferred and was initially hit with a strong smell of blueberry flavour. I'm not certain that added to the experience.

I have a thing about chocolate being too thin - Lindt does this with their bars, so it was nice that this was a little thicker, but somehow still missing that feeling of your teeth sinking into it. I didn't like the dried bits in the chocolate, which I understand are part of the experience, but generally I like my chocolate without mix or with nuts only. So that took away from my experience, having to use my tongue to pull bits out of my teeth.

Finally the chocolate itself, while not overly sugary, is missing that slightly tart flavour you usually find with dark chocolate.

Overall it's fine, but not my version of ideal.

This bar is subtle with just the right touch of almonds. Very succulent. I appreciate the dark chocolate and cocoa butter- of special note there is no glucose or fructose. All chocolates are mouth watering! To die for!

Texture is nice, the blueberry flavour is very prominent. Almonds add a nice texture, all blends together perfectly. Nice packaging and love the design of the tablets, and the varied sizes.

First bite and I was hooked! I couldn't wait to have another burst of flavour! So delicious and typically I am a milk chocolate kind of girl but you totally have a convert in me. This dark chocolate is amazing!

love it! I had the opportunity to try a Brookside Chocolate Bar - Blueberry Almond with Acai and let me tell you, you will love it, simply delicious. i try to eat dark chocolate for the health benefits and it this one so yummy.

The dark chocolate is decent quality and I like the blueberry/almond flavour. The bar is large and thick, so the quantity is good. A pleasant chocolate bar, but I prefer others like Lindt.

Out of the 3 this is hands down my favourite one! It's sooo good! The blueberry complements the dark chocolate really well and the almonds makes it even better! If you're someone who's not big on nutty chocolates but really want to try this, don't you worry! The almond pieces are very small but not to the point where there barely is any. It's the perfect amount of chocolate, blueberry and almonds! Highly recommend to all dark chocolate lovers!

I was choosen to taste and review Brooksides three chocolate bars. Blueberry Almond, Tarte Cherry Chrisp and Mango Coconut. Is it ever good. I love the packaging and the best part is the actual dried fruit in them. I am not a super fan of Dark Chocolate but because its healthier I tend to force myself. These dont even taste like dark chocolate. Usually a few peices of chocolate and I'm done but I wasnted more, I really enjoyed it.

I received this chocolate bar for free along with two others as part of the product review club. My husband and I both tried it and we both came to the conclusion that we enjoyed this chocolate bar quite a bit. It has good texture and you can taste quality dark chocolate not too sweet with a hint of bitterness to it. The blueberry and almonds in the bar give it a hint of tartness, sweetness and a nutty flavor which perfectly completes this chocolate bar. In conclusion we would both buy this in the store and its a good product for the price. It definitely satisfied our sweet tooth!
