I had the opportunity to try this chocolate bar courtesy of ChickAdvisor. I had a couple of friends, as well as my husband, try it with me. It was the favourite flavour of one friend, and the rest of us felt that it had a nice flavour as well. I very much liked the smooth creamy texture of the chocolate use to create this product. It was not at all waxy which is something very important to me when choosing a chocolate treat to indulge in!

I received this tablet bar to review. I found he flavour combination worked well. I'm not a dark chocolate fan but enjoyed the taste. Most dark chocolate tastes like laxative to me but the blueberry and almond flavour definitely came through.

I received this chocolate bar for free so I could taste it and write a review. All four people in my family tasted the Brookside Chocolate Tablet Bar in Blueberry Almond with Açai Flavour. Three out of four of us chose this bar to be our favourite out of the three bars we tasted. The chocolate was smooth and silky. The berries added a nice chewy texture and they really added a nice flavour to the bar. The sweetness of the bar was a little too sweet for me, but the rest of the family thought it was just right.

The chocolate is the star. Smooth velvety dark chocolate. Good amount of blueberry, but I didn't find any almonds in my test bar. Would choose this over regular milk chocolate, but I would only purchase if it were on a good sale.

Let's start with the quality of the chocolate, which is extremely good. I liked the combination of the almond with the blueberry. The only thing I did not like was a bit of a weird aftertaste, but overall very tasty!

Brookside continues to make high quality chocolate in types that their customers ask for. Fruit and chocolate are a simple yet wonderful pairing. For a dark chocolate bar, I found it too sweet from the acai flavour.

I really enjoyed the Brookside blueberry almond chocolate bar. The bar looks really nice with the different designs imprinted on the chocolate and I like that you can select different sized squares to break off and savour. The bar has the delicious dark chocolate we've come to expect from Brookside, coupled with the blueberry flavouring. The one new addition to this bar are the almonds which not only add flavour but also texture. It is definitely an indulgent treat!

Love these chocolates, I only wish there was more in the small packages. The taste is great, acai berry really makes them taste wonderful.

I was thrilled to try out these bars! I love the brookside chocolate candies so, I had high hopes for these chocolate bars. I love dark chocolate and that they incorporated different textures and flavours into it. The bar has a crunch from the almonds, a chewy texture from the blueberries and smooth dark chocolate. The mixtures of flavours work very well together. Definitely good quality chocolate with a great flavour. The size of the bar is large (think lindt bar). The chocolate bar has a very nice design on it as well. The packaging is nice, the cardboard case and then shiny wrapper.
