I received three Brookside dark chocolate bars from ChickAdvisor to review. This one is the Posh Spice of the trio. :) The perfectly balanced flavor combo results in a sophisticated, airy as a whisper taste that caresses the palate and sends me to my happy place. I simply couldn't stop devouring it! :) I'm not the biggest fan of dark chocolate, but this one is mild and sweet (yet not overwhelmingly so) and with the tiniest hint of zestiness that offers an authentic and polished aftertaste. Even the youngest family members, who usually prefer milk chocolate, gave their roaring approval. :)
As for the packaging, the sturdy cardboard box and the additional wrapper underneath are very luxurious and fit for a high-end product. I love that the asymmetrical chocolate blocks are stamped with the Brookside logo and different patterns, it gives the chocolate an artisanal feel. Each bar retails for $ 3.69, which I find reasonable for premium chocolate!

I got this product for free as a part of the review club. This one is a great combination, it's one of those that you pick on the shelf just because you know that it works. The perfect amount of tart, and yet the deliciousness of the dark chocolate. great texture and just the right amount of crisp. the best part is that you don't fell like you need to eat the entire bar to get your sweet craving.

Cherries and chocolate have always paired well together, and that was no exception in this chocolate bar. The dark chocolate is rich and smooth, and the cherry is not too sweet – great for a little sweet indulgence. Unfortunately I couldn’t taste much of the pomegranate in this, it might have been overpowered by the cherry.

In my opinion it’s great to fulfill any sweet cravings after a meal – I like how the bar has different sizes of squares so you can snap off just the right amount of chocolate. The price is right compared to other chocolate bars of this quality, and I would consider buying these again or gifting them to friends and family.

The Chocolate was smooth and not too sweet. Loved the flavours of Cherry and Pomegranate together. I really ejoyed the textures in this bar as well. This one was my favorite!

Out of the 3 bars, this was my favourite! I tried this after a girls shopping day, along with a cup of tea. It was a nice balance of sweet, tart, and rich. I loved the balance and that it could literally be paired with anything. I think this would work so well melted and then drizzled on strawberries for Valentines day. Hint hint.

Taste- subtle fruit flavours that balanced the dark chocolate
Texture- having real fruit chunks visible is always a good sign to me. I want to see the pieces mixed in to know it is made with real fruit.
Price- considering this is the going rate, a brand like Brookside, it was a surprise to see it stand among the other competitors in that price point. I think that is such a great buy for the quality.

I did have issues finding these products in store so that is my only deterrent from buying again. If I see it pop up more places, I will be more apt to purchasing it.

I am definitely a fan of dark chocolate and dark chocolate with gourmet flavors.........yes please! I can't tell you how excited I was to be selected to try these decadent and delicious goodies! Cherry is one of my all time favorite flavors so this was the first one that I dug into (I shared a little bit.......) The flavor is so beautifully rich and natural tasting and the dark chocolate is delightful. I would definitely purchase these again (might even have a couple of them in my drawer for those moments when you need a little "me time" highlighted by some delicious goodness!)

Brookside Chocolate Tablet Bar in Tart Cherry Crisp with Pomegranate Flavour is dense and flavourful.

I love the tartness of the cherries and the sweetness of the pomegranate in the chocolate bar. It is perfect for those reading afternoons. Dark and intense just like a good thriller book!

I would like to thank Chick Advisor for the opportunity to try out these amazing products from Brookside. In my household their chocolates are famous, we even take them as presents for our family in Southern Africa. This was the first time I tried their bars and not a bit disappointed. The bars are high quality and flavourful.

Nice and smooth chocolate with tons of flavour. I have tried the fruit covered chocolate from Brookside but never the bars. I am glad I got the opportunity to try them because they are delicious.
Cherry and Pomegranate are great for fruit lovers, who love the tartness. Overall a good combination of flavors.

I would purchase this again for myself and a as gift and recommend it to others. Thanks ChickAdvisor and Brookside.

If I told you that I ate all this chocolate bar without leaving a crumb .. you will understand that it was exquisite! When I opened the package, I was won over from the start. A sublime chocolate smell came charmed my nose. Hastily , I am eager to taste it and I was very pleasantly surprised by the intense flavor of cherry. For the price , it really is worth paying more to eat chocolate as a good quality. Moreover , I must mention that the pink packaging is really beautiful and the pictures that are printed on the bar. Brookside Congratulations for the excellent chocolate you do and thank you for the opportunity to ChickAdvisor to have been chosen , it's really appreciated.

I wasn't sure of the flavour combination but once I ate a piece I really liked it. Different. Exceptionally well made, thought out flavour mix. Sweet and tart, great texture and the dark chocolate so tasty! Will recommend this to anyone who likes dark chocolate and wants a bit of a kick to it. Will definitely buy again.
