PRODUCT REVIEW - BROOKSIDE CHOCOLATE BARS

Chocolate has always been a comfort food to me, and until I tested Brookside Dark chocolate bars I didn't care what the bars I ate were.
And then I tasted BROOKSIDE chocolate bars!! AMAZING - I will NEVER go back to random bars!!
Made with dark chocolate (a more healthy chocolate), and coming in multiple flavours, Brookside bars will undoubtedly become many people's bar of choice.
I have tasted these bars 1.) TART CHERRY CRISP - with POMEGRANATE flavour'.
2.) BLUEBERRY ALMOND - with ACAI flavour
3.) MANGO COCONUT CRISP

I LOVE EACH AND EVERY ONE! When you take off the package, the tinfoil underneath is beautiful and resembles gift wrap - a delightful surprise. And then you taste the bar...smooth delicious dark chocolate, and then the wonderful taste sensation of the fruit inside. In fact, though my husband WASN'T a fan of dark chocolate before - now he is! I almost had to negotiate to get any of my bars back.

Thanks ChickAdvisor for letting me try this bar for free! I'm often hesitant with cherry flavoured sweets - they can taste super synthetic, like bad cough syrup. I should have known it Brookside would do better. The dark chocolate was delicious, and the cherry/pomegranate added a nice tartness to the chocolate. The dark chocolate itself was just sweet enough to blend well with this flavour combo. I also liked the crisp texture of the chocolate bar. I'll definitely be buying it for friends and to keep at home. I've found just a piece of any of the three Brookside chocolate tablet bars is perfect for that post-dinner sweet craving!

I was so surprised with this bar as I typically am not a fan of chocolate and cherry but this was by-far the best Brookside product I have ever tried. The dark chocolate was very smooth and creamy, not at all bitter. The cherry and pomegranate flavours were nice and sweet and tart which bring out the smoothness in the chocolate and the fun crunch of the rice crisps. I normally find with "fruit falvourings" that they have a chemical taste but these fruits tasted natural and void of any fake products.

I will totally be stocking up for spring/summer and serving this at parties.

How many ways can you say loved it, but I did it was so much more than a Chocolate bar. I really had a hard time just having a little bit at a time. Well done Brookside a wonderful product and I will be repurchasing.

The tart cherry crisp with pomegranate was my favorite flavor, hands down! I figured it would be, because I absolutely LOVE cherry. I'm just glad this chocolate bar did not disappoint!

You got both the tartness from the cherry combined with the sour from the pomegranate, and slight bitterness from the dark chocolate. Makes for a very unique, and tasty, combination! Normally I'm not a fan of dark chocolate, but this I really, really liked!

This chocolate bar is much better than other ones I've tried. Not only is made from quality chocolate, but it actually has pieces of REAL fruit in it. I'd say that's a win! After my first bite, I knew I would be going back for another piece. I just couldn't help myself! It indulged my sweet tooth more than any other chocolate I've ever had.

The chocolate itself is so smooth and creamy, and not like any dark chocolate I've had before. If you're not a fan of dark chocolate, then try this bar and you will definitely be a convert!

I'd definitely recommend this chocolate bar, and plan on buying it again! If you haven't tried this yet... go now!

This was a wonderful combination of flavours. Just the right amount of tartness and creamy chocolate. Great alternative to the regular bars on the market.

I received this Brookside Chocolate Tablet Bar in Tart Cherry Crisp with Pomegranate Flavor to try for free in exchange for providing and honest review. This was the first bar my daughter and I decided to try as she is a huge cherry fan. Now, she's only five and a half, so take it for what it's worth, but this bar is her favorite of the three. I really enjoyed it as well. There are so many things going on but they all work together in harmony. The decadent dark chocolate, the fruity cherry and pomegranate flavors. It has the decadence of a high quality bar without being too rich or sugary sweet. The fruits add a nice, natural sweetness to the bar. I will definitely buy this again.

This bar was my and my husband's favourite of the three we sampled. The flavour is explosive! I definitely couldn't stop after one square of this bar. I like the tartness, to counter how chocolate can be really rich at times. As with all three bars, the quality of chocolate was pleasing - it was smooth and not too hard. And not bitter at all, considering it's dark chocolate. And we all liked the crispies in it.
I wish that either the box or inner packaging was resealable, though, as the bars are too big and too rich to eat in one sitting (although I could do it if I was forced).
I would definitely splurge on this again for a treat or gift.

Received this to try and out of the three flavours this was by far the best. Really liked the cherry and pomegranate combination. The tart flavour of the cherry with dark chocolate balanced the sweet and sour. This flavour turned me into a dark chocolate lover. Definitely need to pick some up for the treat cupboard at home

I really wanted to like this flavour as I usually love cherry-flavoured things but I'm still partial to it. I expected the bar to be more tart, just going by the name, but it was a little too sweet for my liking. When I shared it with my friends, they thought the sweetness was perfect and liked this flavour the best. Perhaps I like more subtle flavours in chocolate. I usually like really sweet things too so I was surprised by my reaction. Maybe my taste buds were off. Either way, I could see myself purchasing this either for myself so I can try it again or for my friends, since they all seemed to like this very much.
