I loved this brookside tablet bar in tart cherry crisp with pomegranate flavour! It has smooth chocolate and a great flavour and crunch. I love these tablet bars because they are a great treat!

Although the dark chocolate was good, I found the flavour combination to be a bad match. The sweetness was overwhelming and I would have preferred some savoury to balance.

I found this to be a high quality chocolate bar. The texture was spot on. I love chocolate cherry flavours but the pomegranate didn't add anything. It took away from the classic cherry chocolate combo.

I found this bar at wal-mart of all places and I had to buy it. The dark chocolate is so smooth and creamy it doesn't even taste like dark chocolate and the pieces of cherry and crisps are super yummy. Dark chocolate and cherry is one of the best combinations.

Thanks to Brookside and ChickAdvisor product review club for sending me the Brookside Chocolate Tablet Bar in Tart Cherry Crisp with Pomegranate flavour for free to try. I was afraid it would be too bitter for me like most dark chocolate that I have tried but I was pleasantly surprised by the mild flavour of the dark chocolate in this bar. The texture of the chocolate itself was nice and smooth but the flavour of Tart Cherry and Pomegranate wasn't strong enough for my liking. The crispy texture was very pleasant and a nice texture difference from the smoothness of the chocolate. This one was my second favorite out of the 3 different bars that I tried and I would still recommend it to friends and family.

This bar was good but not better than the blueberry and almonds. I am not really a fan of dried cherries but if you are a fan this is definitely your bar.

Out of the three bars I tried this one was by far my favourite! I loved the darker chocolate with the slightly tart cherry, I'll definitely buy this again!

The bar itself offers the ability to snap squares in different sizes. This is a great feature for those who just want a taste, as well as providing a proper serving size for those who need or want to keep track of their intake!

I like the fact that Brookside has incorporated healthy products into their bars, while still creating great and unique flavours! Pomegranates are rich in antioxidants, and dark chocolate has been proven to have many health benefits as well. It makes it easy to enjoy when you can do so without feeling guilty or wondering what negative effects will follow.

The chocolate is smooth and not bitter as most other chocolates of the same caliber. It didn't melt in my mouth as much as others, certainly not as much as a milk chocolate would, but it wasn't tough or gritty at all. You can actually taste the fruit! The cherries and pomegranate compliment each other well. That being said, this is the one bar that I personally did not enjoy as much as the others. The bitterness of the chocolate, combined with the tartness of the cherries and pomegranate were a bit too much for my palate. I would eat it if a craving hit and it was my only option, but wouldn't go out of my way to purchase this bar.

I like the other Brookside chocolates that come in bags; they are great for tossing on yogurt, or in a salad for an extra pop. That being said, sometimes you just want a chocolate bar! These fit the bill! Unlike the bags that I could polish off fairly quickly, the bars are consumed much slower, and it allows the person eating to actually savour the flavours!

One thing that truly impresses me with Brookside is that it is the only dark chocolate my family and I can consume without getting migraines! That alone speaks to the higher quality of product! I am not sure how it is manufactured, processed, or what specific ingredients they use, but it is fantastic to be able to eat something that we all enjoy without such a horrid result!

Although I will most definitely be purchasing the other two bars again, my only concern with them is their price point. Though I have seen them a few places for about $4, I have also seem them at my usual stores costing as high as $8 per bar! It is definitely worth it for the quality, but at that price for the size of bar you get, it is something that will only be purchased either when on sale or as a treat. I would purchase these over similar bars in their category that share the same price point.

I highly recommend everyone try them! Initially I wasn't too keen on the sound of the flavours, due to other brands products I've tried that were absolutely disgusting, but was pleasantly surprised for the most part! These are by far one of my top treat foods now! Even if you've had other similar items as I had, it is worth putting the fears aside and trying them! If you are anything like myself or my family (whom I might add ate the better halves of my bars.. Haha!) you will not regret it!!!

I took longer for me to finish all the bars. However, I must admit that tart cherry crisp with pomegranate took slightly longer then the rest flavours.
I think the best thing about Brookside in general is the quality of chocolate. Dark Chocolate! This makes a difference since when you are indulging yourself, you still want that great quality. In addition, regular milk chocolate is not as useful, as the dark one. I also enjoyed the texture of the crisps inside the bars, They were small and crunchy, very light.
The flavour to me was, perhaps, the main reason for becoming the number three in this race. I did not really feel that much of a pomegranate, but the cherry was overwhelming and somewhat already tried. Cherry and chocolate are very common in many brands and are generally a win-win for a company and customers. Still, I wanted to go with something brand-new.
In terms of gift-giving, I would definitely present such a bar to my loved one or a friends. Itt has great tartness to it and aroma. Quality again is important point. Therefore, Brookside Chocolate Tablet Bar in Tart Cherry Crisp with Pomegranate Flavour is a nice idea to show your appreciation or supplement another item (a tea cup or bottle of wine).
