Cherry and pomegranate in a chocolate bar? Yes, Please!
This is by far my favorite chocolate bar.
The tart cherry and pomegranate is nothing but delicious.
I love that it is not super sweet and has that little tartness.
A wonderful addition to Brookside chocolates!

First off thanks to Chick Advisor for the opportunity to try these bars out for free. I truly wasn't sure if I would enjoy this flavour of Brookside Chocolate Tablet, but I was pleasantly surprised. I took the first piece and I found it has a nice taste from the pomegranate and tartness from the cherry. Much to my liking. My coworkers enjoyed it very much as well!!

I was excited to try this flavour of new Brookside Chocolate tablet, although was a bit concerned I wouldn't love the Pomegranate added flavour. The cherry and rice crisps, however, made up for it and both my husband and I ended up really enjoying this bar. I would recommend it.

I got to test this chocolate tablet bar I at first did not think I would like this flavor to much but it ended up being my favorite out of the 3 I received, The flavor combination of cherry and pomegranate works very good. I also like the crisp rice in it there is not too much nor too little, I find this is a sweet chocolate so one small piece at a time was good enough to satisfie my cravings. This is more of a gormet chocolate bar and I will definately purchase this in the future

This was a delicious treat that I received through the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. It was so tasty. The combo of dark chocolate and cherries work very nicely together and then once you get the hint of pomegranate it balances out the strong cherry flavor. This was a yummy treat that satisfied my chocolate craving for sure. Would repurchase!

Received this free to try through Chick Advisor. This product offered the dark chocolate taste that I love with the tartness of cherry and crisp texture. A lot better than what I as expecting. Other products I have tried with fruit chocolate taste too sweet or the fruit flavour simulated. This chocolate was really yummy. Will definitely buy more! The price of under 4$ also is also really great!

I received three flavours of Brookside Chocolate Tablet Bars as part of Chickadvisor's product review club. This flavour has a subtle taste of cherry. I was not expecting that there would be rice crisps in the chocolate but it added a nice crunch which I liked.

The packaging > I am very impressed with the high quality packaging of these chocolate bars. Each bar comes in a sturdy cardboard sleeve that helps protect the bar from damage. The packaging has an aesthetically pleasing design. The high quality images of the chocolate bar on the front cover of the packaging clearly show its ingredients. Within the cardboard sleeve, you will find the chocolate bar itself. The bar is wrapped in a hot pink / violet plastic foil wrapper with a classy looking pattern to preserve the bar's freshness. The packaging is very informative. It lists the nutritional value of the chocolate bar and its ingredients. It even has allergy information. All in all, the packaging gives you the impression that this is a premium chocolate bar.

The aroma >
Upon opening the wrapper, you are greeted by a very pleasant, yet subtle sweet aroma. You can definitely smell a hint of the cherries and pomegranate that are within this bar.

The appearance of the bar >
The bar itself is beautifully designed. It is conveniently segmented into an interesting mosaic of rectangles and squares. It was very easy for me to split the bar evenly three ways due to the way the bar was segmented. Some of the rectangles and squares have images of the Brookside logo embossed on them, while others have a pattern matching that of the plastic foil wrapping...very attractive!

The ingredients >
I really like the fact that all of the chocolate bar's ingredients are evenly distributed and visible throughout the bar. You can clearly see the fruit and crisp rice. Also, the ingredients appear to be all-natural, recognizable, and pronounceable.

The texture >
The texture of the chocolate bar is interesting. It is a balanced combination of crispy, creamy, and chewy...almost like a Rice Krispie square. The bar has just the right thickness. It's easy to bite into and it won't break your teeth.

The flavour >
The chocolate bar is a little bit on the sweet side for dark chocolate. The cherries aren't as tart as I was led to believe from the information on the packaging.

Value >
At a MSRP of $3.69, I find this chocolate bar to be average to fairly good value given its quality and weight.

Conclusion >
I really enjoyed the appearance, taste, and texture of this chocolate bar. It's a little sweeter than I would like (i.e., sweeter than the dark chocolate I already buy), however, I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys quality dark chocolate that's permeated with the flavours of cherry and pomegranate. The packaging is so attractive, that I would not be ashamed to give this chocolate bar as a gift to someone.

Oh my i love all the Brookside Bars but this one is really good you get a crispy crunch as soon as you bite into it ,than you taste the cherry it was like the chocolate cherries only better, the dark richness of the chocolate has a velvety smooth texture and than the sweetness of the pomegranate oh it was really tasty.

I've tried the Brookside Dark Chocolate on fruit before, and it has the same amazing base flavour where it's not too sweet and not too bitter. What I love about this in comparison is that it melts in your mouth and is smooth. It's not overwhelming in taste which is the best part. Other chocolates usually leave a sticky tacky feeling in the back of my throat but this one surprisingly doesn't! There is rice crisps in there so it makes the chocolate more fun to eat. The cherry crisp overpowers the pomegranate flavour and being someone who isn't too fan of cherry, this mellow flavour is actually really great!
