I receive this item through the Product Review Club. The flavours were very delightful but could have been stronger. Also you could remove the unnecessary milk ingredients.

I received my Brookside Chocolate bars in the mail last week for review. I immediately took note of the similarity on the packing from their other products I have tried. So there was no question as consumer of the chocolate covered berries I've had was from the same company.
I thought the inside of the packaging was beautiful with the colour of the foil wrapper colour matched to the flavour with a bright fuschia for the tart cherry, royal blue for blueberry almond and a deep yellow for mango. I thought that was a nice touch.
Then once I got the the chocolate I loved the impression and design of the bar with the Brookside logo and so on.
The dark chocolate was really nice and not bitter at all. I also found with all the bars the immediate flavour I had was a burst of fruit. I also had my friend sample and she said the same thing. She could taste the fruit, but it wasn't over powering at all. A great balance between chocolate and fruit.

I've tasted many dark chocolate, organic, locally made chocolate and I have to say this one really stands out and is now a favourite. When I tasted the tart cherry it reminded me of how much I loved cherry chocolate. Also, all the flavours are unique and I don't think there is anything quite like these combinations currently in the market.

I received this as a free sample from Product Review Club and was excited to try the combination of cherry and pomegranate as I have never seen such a combination in the shops before.

It had a nice crunch to it without the added calories (fruit instead of crisps). It's dark chocolate but a bit on the sweet end, so it allows you to indulge in something sweet without the badness of milk chocolate. I'd definitely suggest them to a friend who is being healthy but wants to indulge - especially since pomegranates are an anti-oxidant rich superfood!

Brookside dark chocolate tart cherry crisp with pomegranate flavour bar is so good,it has a strong smell of cherry that bursts into your mouth with a small bite, kind of tastes like they put a little bit of rice krispies in it for texture, very good mixture, the taste is so great with the real fruit taste. Its a great choice and treat to excite every palate. The size of bar is appropriate, the packaging was very stylish, as to the price of the bar 3.69,i felt was overpriced, it could be for 1.89 where I feel it would be very affordable.

Brookside Chocolate Tablet Bar in Tart Cherry Crisp with Pomegranate Flavour

This is the last tablet of the three tablets that I was given to try. I saved this one for the end because this combination of unique flavours didn't sound as appealing to me as the other ones did. I think it's the word "Tart". I tend to love sweet and savoury flavours. But, I was pleasantly surprised at how yummy this tastes. It is now my favourite of the three that I tried. Yummy! I love the mild combination of flavours.

This tablet was wrapped in a pretty purple/pink shiny foil wrapper. I found the wrapper to be appealing. I guess some of us will always be attracted to shiny objects. I opened the wrapper and my nose was met with a wonderful fragrance but, not overpowering Mmm .. It sure smells delightful.

I love how the tablet is cut into nice little squares with pretty designs. This makes it easier to break for sharing or to take a smaller amount at onetime. Less messy this way too!

This tablet is 90 g and the nutrition facts are clearly broken down per 1/2 bar (45 g) This tablet seems to be healthier compared to other bars that I have eaten. It still has 5 mg of Cholesterol, 50 mg of sodium, fat 13 g (saturated 8 g +Trans 0.1. I know that many of us watch those numbers. Everything in moderation. That's what I keep telling myself. I'm very happy to see that half of this tablet contains 20% of our daily quota of Iron. No wonder I crave chocolate when it's my time of the month. This is dark chocolate so even better to eat when I crave chocolate. Plus, I find that dark chocolate is better quality.

By, looking at the back of this tablet, I can clearly tell that it is packed full of ingredients. Lots of texture can be seen and tasted. I love how crunchy this tastes and sounds when I quickly chew it. It feels crunchy and a little chewy at the same time. Letting it mouth in my mouth is a whole other sensation. The chocolate it's self is so smooth and creamy!

I recommend this bar to anyone. It would make a great stocking stuffer, Christmas add on gift or a treat for yourself. I will be buying this again but, I must confess that I will be watching for it to come on sale because it's a little pricer then I'm used to paying. So, I'll save it as a treat that I look forward to.

My current chocolate craving has been successfully met. Mmm ... I wonder how this would taste to make s'mores with? Humm ...

I received this product to try for the Chick Review Club. I enjoyed the flavor of this bar a lot. I liked the chewy cherry pieces and the crisp rice pieces. I found the pomegranate flavoring a bit overpowering, and I couldn't taste much of the chocolate. I love the design of these bars and would consider bringing them to a party to put out on display as they look so nice, but the chocolate is waxy and you can't even taste it. While I enjoy the flavor of this bar, I would also like to have a stronger taste of chocolate to balance out the sweetness.

I have always been a fan of the Brookside Chocolates, they are one of my favorite treats, these bars are added to that list. A wonderful combination of flavor and texture enrobed in a rich dark chocolate, a bar that will be hard to beat. I let my daughter try it as well and it proved a hit with her too. It doesn't hurt that tart cherries and Pomegranate are some of my favorite fruits as well. Not to be missed.

I received this chocolate bar for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. Of the three bars I was sent, this was probably my favourite flavour. I really love anything chocolate/cherry. I loved the crisp rice bits in the bar - it added really nice texture. The chocolate was smooth and not at all bitter. The tart cherry wasn't actually so tart - quite sweet really, but the real cherry taste really came through. I would really recommend pairing a piece with a cup of tea. I would definitely buy this bar again and have been looking for it where I shop. My whole family loved this bar.

This is my favorite of all the Brookside Bars. All I can say is one piece is not enough.

This is the best tasting chocolate bar I have eaten in my entire 43 years of life. High quality chocolate enveloping bits of tart cherry, this bar was a perfect accompaniment to a glass of red wine. I did not want to share with my husband. I have looked for these bars in stores and have yet the find them. Once I do there won't be any left for you guys because I am going to buy them all. Perfect sweet treat for people who aren't interested in that waxy kid like chocolate.
