When the Brookside Bars arrived I couldn't wait to try one, I love dark chocolate on its own, with my coffee or red wine as long as its not bitter. What I noticed first was the packaging its quite attractive and in 2 parts. A sealed card board outer box and a foil type inside pouch so the chocolate remains fresh,it really gives them that extra special feel. With the first bite the cherry/pomegranate could be fully experienced,the crunch of the crisps was tasty and pleasant. It ended up being my favorite bar of the 3 I tried. No bitterness I allowed it to melt in my mouth to get the full experience and it was very good!. My only preference would be that the cherry flavor wasn't fully infused into the chocolate, I enjoy the experience of each individual flavor ,. brought together not merged but that didn't stop me from finishing it! Skillfully done Brookside! The Brookside Cherry Crisp with Pomegranate works nicely with my wine, coffee,tea and would be perfect to put out for guests.The pieces break apart in a couple different sizes and are attractive. A hit with the family ,I would buy it again and keep one in my purse and recommend it to friends. In my opinion far exceeds similar bars around the same price. It's dark chocolate without all the bitterness. I really like the crunch. Cherry flavour is subtle but it's a really good chocolate. And I didn't think I would like the dark chocolate.

It smells like cherry and tastes amazing. It's like nothing I've ever eaten before. There is the crunch from the rice cereal and the after taste of cherry. It tastes like chocolate but not your standard milk or dark chocolate.

I would recommend to EVERYONE that at least once... you HAVE to try this... and I am not a huge chocolate fan, especially not of dark chocolate - but this is just so different. It is a little pricey, but its so worth it.

You can definitely taste the cherry in this chocolate. The chewy cherries and crunchy rice crispies are a nice combination. Not sure how much I taste the pomegranate but the bar is quite fruity.

The Tart Cherry Crisp with Pomegranate taste delicious! The moment I opened the package, it instantly smells like cherry chocolate. I'm usually not a fan of those cherry chocolates with the gooey cherry centers so I never get the chance to enjoy what smells so amazing. The chocolate doesn't have any gooey centers (thankfully), you can definitely taste a tart cherry with dark chocolate plus a tiny hint of pomegranate. The crisp adds that extra texture that works well with the cherry chocolate combination. I will definitely be buying this product again, as well as gifting them to those who love Cherry flavoured chocolate.

I received this as part of the product review club. This was my favourite out of the 3. It has a lovely crunch to it and while some people found it too sweet, I found it just perfect. I even had some with my morning coffee! I can see this becoming my favourite chocolate bar.

The tart cherry flavor has a sweet, natural cherry flavor that is really pleasing to eat. It's also a flavor that I haven't seen paired with chocolate from other companies, so it is a welcome change. The extra texture given by the rice crisps give some variety to each bite, and each nugget of cherry that is included is the best part. The dark chocolate itself tastes very rich in chocolate flavor, but it isn't too heavy. The cherry flavor might be a bit too sweet for some people, but I found it just right for me.

This is really a very decadent, high end chocolate at a very affordable price.

I was lucky enough to try Brookside Chocolate tablet bar in tart cherry crisp with pomegranate flavour through Chick Advisor's review club. I enjoyed this chocolate bar but did find slightly on the sweet side. I did love the texture from the crispy pieces. It had a really great cherry and pomegranate flavour.

The bar itself was quite pretty- divided into different squares with different patterns. It did not break easily along those lines, though.
There was a lot of crisps in this bar, and not a lot of cherry fruit bits. I wish that ratio had been a little different. The cherry taste did come out quite strongly from the actual chocolate though.
Overall, it was pretty good!
