I received Brookside Dark Chocolate Fruit & Nut Bars - Blueberry with Acai from ChickAdvisor for review purposes.
I don't normally like granola bars as a snack as I find them to be too sweet and processed. I'm glad Brookside proved me wrong. I'm brought the bars on hikes and outings and they are the perfect mid-day snack. Not too sweet and the added nuts give the bar some staying power.

This bar is a healthy treat, with lots of dried fruits and nuts and a perfect layer of dark chocolate on the bottom. I loved the blueberry flavor, sweet and different from other snack bars. The bar is easy to pull apart but not too sticky so it doesn't make a mess.

I really enjoyed the taste of this bar and felt the size was good but for the overall price I don't think I would purchase it again. There are so many other bars that are more cost effective that taste just as good.

I like the size of this bar, the texture and the quality of the chocolate. Each bite has a nice crunch, flavour of blueberry and hint of chocolate. Out of the three bars I tried this was my second favourite. I can see myself snacking on this mid afternoon while I'm getting ready to run errands. I will likely purchase it in the future.

I tried this bar over the weekend and I did not like the taste. The blueberries did not taste natural. It was a very overpowering taste of blueberry. I did not enjoy this flavor.

I received this product as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club which I was very happy about. I must say I was a little disappointed in it. I have been trying to eat healthier recently so I have been watching what I have been eating. I however did not really enjoy these bars. I did not like the taste of the fruit in them, if it had no fruit I would have loved them. I also found the chocolate seemed a little old or stale ( it looked a bit white). I would recommend this to someone who enjoys dried fruit but I did not enjoy it. Great packaging and looked like it would be really tasty.

I received this Brookside product for testing purposes. I love the packaging of the bars - it looks clean, sleek and modern. I am a big fan of Brookside chocolates that I have tried in the past so had high hopes for this product. Sadly, I was a little disappointed by the taste of this bar - it was good to snack on while at work (something to fill my hungry stomach) but it did not leave me wanting more like I was expecting. Packed with great ingredients though and a healthier alternative to eating a chocolate bar. Would buy again if on sale. I hope i am more impressed with the other 2 flavours :)

This was one of three different bars I received as a free sample from the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. It is very tasty, although I did find the chocolate coating just a little bit waxy tasting. Not enough to put me off trying them again however. I would certainly buy them in the future.

I didn't know what Acai was before trying this bar, but it's healthy, just like all the other ingredients in this bar.
I love these bars cause I can actually see the whole nuts and ingredients that are in it without having to look at the ingredient list. i got to try this for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club, and also love that it's non GMO and gluten free. It's a premium bar, and you'll definitely notice the difference.

It was nice to see that the product was made with real fruit, a source of fibre, non-GMO and gluten free. At 180 calories each, not bad on the waistline either.
The amount of chocolate wasn't too overpowering and the fruit flavour was more prominent. They were chewier than I had anticipated. Containing nuts, I would have thought they would have been a bit crunchier.
The retails price on these bars is $1.99, which is a bit steep but when they are a good quality bar, I will be looking for them in stores the next time I am out shopping.
Out of the 3 flavours available this was probably my least favorite, but was still enjoyable.
