I received this as a part of the Product Review Club. Out of the 3, this has to be my most favourite one.Two of my favourite berries, Cranberry and Blackberry together. Couldn't have asked for more in a bar. Chocolate just added the perfect harmony. I always have fruit and nut bars in my bag to eat something on the run. These bars are awesome! The nut to fruit and chocolate ratio is perfect. It's not dry and scratchy like the other bars. I love the quality of the chocolate, it's not too sweet or too bitter. It's a perfect balance. It's perfect for those chocolate cravings. It's an all in one bar. I'm glad I got to try it. I'm definitely going to stock up on these.

I remained pleasantly surprised by the texture and flavor. I'm not a fan of cranberries normally but all together I enjoyed. A beautiful chocolate layer under the bar. Many nuts.

This fruit and nut bar was really delicious. It was so much more indulgent than a plain old granola bar for about the same amount of calories. I felt as if I was cheating on my diet but I wasn't! The price is comparable to other snacks I buy. I will definitely buy these in the future

The cranberry and blackberry nut bar was my favourite flavour of all three.
Like the other two bars the texture is awesome. The bar is surprisingly chewy. The texture is awesome.
The perfect combination of dark chocolate, crunchy almonds & pumpkin seeds, and juicy cranberries &
blackberries. I could eat this bars everyday as a quick snack in the morning or before a workout.
Really tasty! And pretty average nutrition wise for a granola bar. BUT all the ingredients are familiar.
I definitely would purchase these and recommend them.

I was lucky to be chosen to do a review of the 3 different Brookside Fruit and Nut bars through Chick Advisor. I was pretty excited because in general I am a fan of the Brookside products and this bar was no exception. The fruit to nut ratio was a bit off for me as I would have liked a little more fruit to make the bar chewier but the addition of the chocolate along the bottom of the bar may have made up for that. I did enjoy these and will be purchasing them again in the future! My husband is also a fan!

I received 3 bars from the Chick Advisor Product Review Club. The cranberry with blackberry is the only one we've tried so far. I like that I can read all the ingredients, nothing unknown in there. I like that the ingredients are all GMO free. I don't eat a gluten free diet, but I do try to avoid excess gluten when I can. Compared to other breakfast bars it in extremely nice to see a clean ingredient list. I am glad there are no artificial sweeteners in there either. Many bars have a chemical aftertaste because of the sweeteners they use. I do wish there was no soy in the bar however.
Nutritionally, the bar compares fairly equal to Quaker/Kellogs/Nature Valley as well as Larabar Uber. They all have similar calorie, fat, fibre, carb & sugars. The Brookside bar does have a lot more iron than most others.
The taste was superb! I am not a fan of chocolate all by itself and this bar had just enough for a taste, without being overbearing. I really liked that I could taste individual ingredients! One bite was a taste of almond, then next bite was fruity, and the next was pumpkin seeds. Every other granola bar I've tried has the same flavour throughout the whole bar. Many bars just taste like sugar coated granola and this bar was completely different. Although a little sweet, the flavours of the individual ingredients were very obvious.
The quality of the Brookside Chocolate did not disappoint! I enjoy quality chocolate and this is not found in most other bars. Others only have chocolate flavoured milk ingredients, sometimes not even cocoa in the ingredients!
I also like the see through packaging. You can see what is inside, and you can clearly see the large pieces of fruits and nuts.
Price - Well, if you compare it to Quaker type bars, then it's hugely overpriced. 10x the price actually... But it isn't a Quaker bar. The quality of ingredients, GMO free, the flavour, all put this bar in the premium category, and the price is the same as those bars. (KIND, Larabar). There are other organic bars (natures path) that offer boxes of 4-6 bars for about $4 so those are half the price of the Brookside bars also. However, I haven't seen any fruit/nut bars with this good quality chocolate.

Bottom line, I don't eat granola bars. I do like fruit bars, nut bars, and any mixture of the two. The Brookside Chocolate makes this fruit & nut bar a very nice treat! I will recommend, and I will purchase occasionally.

I liked this bar! The texture was really good. Soft, but not chewy. You could really taste the nuts in this bar, more than anything else, but I like trail mix bars, so I thought it was good. You could see the bar was packed full of fruits and nuts, and covered with a good layer of dark chocolate. I was expecting to taste more cranberry, but other than the nuts, all I could taste was the blackberry. It was still really good, and will be purchasing this kind again!

I received this dark chocolate fruit and nut bar for free as a product tester. The bars are so delicious. They are moist, yet still crispy. The fruit components are very prominent throughout the bar. If you do not like this fruit combination then you will not like the bar. They are filling and satisfying, great for a snack. At a cost of $1.99 a bar you can’t go wrong - basically the cost of a chocolate bar and no one has an issue spending that much on one of those!.

This was the best snack bar I think I have ever tasted. This flavor was perfectly combined. The right amount of chocolate and not to sweet. The bar wasn't one of those chewy ones that make your jaw hurt from chewing forever. The whole bar was perfect. I love that my kids like them. Delicious, nutritional and GMO free, what more could you want?

YUMMY! That's what I have to say about all three flavour I have tried. These bars are just amazing! The flavouring is so brilliant. Enjoy them morning day or night. Even my 3 year old and 8 we r old nieces loved them. Just amazing bars
