I have a hard time believing these are better for me, with the amount of sugar in them. I really liked the taste of this one though. The blackberry was evident and had a great taste combined with the cranberry, which gave it a little zing. I would definitely purchase this one.

I'm not a huge fan of cranberries, so I was a bit hesitant to try out this flavour at first, as I was afraid that the cranberry would taste really sour, especially with the dark chocolate combination... I'm glad I gave it a try! everything complimented each other so well, you don't really notice the cranberry at all.

I was skeptical of the cranberry/blackberry combination. I could feel my taste buds tightening just thinking of it. However, I was pleasantly surprised. While it was tart, it was not nearly as much as anticipated. There are not as many cranberries/blackberries in the bar as I would have expected. The nut combinations make up the majority of the bar by far. The tartness of the fruit is nicely offest by the dark chocolate. It's great to have a snack time opportunity to eat dark chocolate. These bars have better ingredients than some, is a good source of fibre and has some added vitamins (A, C, and E) which is a plus. They are also Non-GMO, Low Sodium and Gluten Free which is great. The sugar content is still quite high. A lower sugar content would be nice and give this bar a huge advantage over other. That being said it is still far better than any typical lunch box granola bar. You definitely pay for name and that extra bit of health. It's more like buying protein bars at this price mark. Overall they are a good occasional snack product, but I will most likely not be buying this product unless it is on sale.

Out of the three fruit and nut bars that I sampled as part of the review club, this was my least favourite, however having said that, I still LOVED every last bite of it!! I found the cranberries a bit tart for my liking but the blackberries were delish! I love how flavourful these bars are and how each component of the bar (fruit/ nut/ dark chocolate) were so dominant. As with the other bars I sampled, the sugar content is a bit high for one bar and the price point is also a bit high. I would buy them for sure if they were on sale or if they came down in price! I would really love to see them come out with a fruit and nut bar in their mangosteen flavour!

A very tasty fruit and nut bar. The dark chocolate added nice depth and sweetness, and there was a good textural balance between the chew of the fruit and the crunch of the nuts. I only wish it were slightly lower in calories.

This bar was my 2nd favorite in their selection. It's slightly tart but not as much as the pomegranate. If you like tart/sweet combinations, you'll definitely like this bar.

Oh my. YUM! I loved this new combo of cranberries and blackberries. You'd think the cranberry taste would overpower the blackberry, but it didn't. I really enjoyed this bar. The price is a little expensive, but with Brookside you know that you're getting quality. I love that it is gluten-free, and non-GMO, so to me, it makes it worth paying a bit more. Honestly, I would have loved to have a bit more chocolate on the bar, but that is just my personal taste, as I love chocolate.

This one was my second favourite! i love cranberries and you don't often see fruit bars with dried blackberries so it was a really unique flavour combination. again choclate was a little too much for me.... i think hey should make these bars without chocolate... they would be fantastic

Expensive and contains more sugar then I hoped. I like that it contains nuts (protein!) and that it is made of dark chocolate (not a fan of milk chocolate). This was my family's favorite flavor.

I really enjoyed this delicious snack bar. Initially, I thought I might not be a huge fan of the cranberry flavour but this bar was really all about the blackberry, which I found super tasty. It is very flavourful and has quality ingredients such as pumpkin seeds and almonds and uses real fruit and natural flavours. As a plus, it's gluten free for those with dietary sensitivities and a source of fiber. And who doesn't love the combination of dark chocolate and fruit? Yum! It's both chewy and crunchy and fills you up. This bar has a delicious dominant blackberry flavour, combined with dark chocolate and quality ingredients, which makes it a top choice when choosing a snack bar.
