This is a compact fan that takes 4 AA batteries to operate. It is larger than other plastic handheld fans, but feels more substantial. It has a built in stand that retracts and extends when necessary. The blades are powerful, yet are flexible enough to stop if something jammed in it. It can also be carried around the neck with a lanyard attached (though operating it while not holding on to it is not advisable.) It is pricey, but will work to cool you down when needed.
