Great lunch idea!

I am a huge fan of fish. When I saw these sardines at Walmart I knew I had to try them. They were less than $1.50 per can which is a very reasonable price. I took this for lunch with sea weed and an apple and it was super delicious. You get a good amount of sardines in each can so they are filling. The tomato sauce is thick so it coats the fish and gives a great flavor. The tomato sauce has a strong flavor which I very much enjoyed. It does not taste like regular tomatoes blended and put in a can. There are spices in the sauce which makes it rich and delicious.

Great Value & Taste

The sardines in here are a good size and there is plenty of meat on them. There are bones in the sardines which can be eaten as is or crushed into the sardines using your form. I recommend eating the bones as they provide a great amount of calcium. I like the mild taste of the tomato sauce. I find it thicker and milder tasting than the marinara sauce that is typically used on pasta. The thicker consistency allows the sauce to coat the sardines and not be too messy when eating. These can be found for a great price at most stores.

Out of all of the flavours of Brunswick sardines, these were the worst. They had a strange taste to them that I did not notice in the others - nor did I detect them in the competitors' version either. The sardines themselves are of a good size, hearty and meaty. There was just something about that sauce that made me grossed out. Ugh.
