Wow, I use to think that I was the only one who actually liked the taste of Buckley's. I never understood why they advertised it as tasting awful but being effective. I use this the second I feel a sore throat coming on and it starts to work right away. I recommend this to anyone and everyone when I hear they are suffering from a soar throat. It does have a bit of a thick base but I figure it's because it has to coat the throat. It's my go to medicine for the fall and winter seasons.

When you have a chest cold this is a lifesaver, it's so strong tasting but it really helps with a dry or wet cough and soothes sore throats. I like that it is all natural and it helped me through so many bouts of bronchitis, I swear this is probably the most beneficial cough syrup on the market

Buckley's always works especially for that sore and scratchy throat. It does taste horrible..but a spoon full of sugar helps the medicine go down...no really, the label suggests mixing it with a spoon of honey

Chaques hiver, lorsque la grippe réussit à m'attraper, j'utilise buckley et je vous garanti que ma grippe par aussi vite qu'elle est arriver. Avec un bon verre d'eau, c'est l'idéal.

It really works and it really really taste awful! It kind of crazy how bad this taste, it gives me shivers just thinking about it. It helps so much...if you can keep it down. Thank God they come in pill form now.

Aghhhh the taste is like chlorine! But it does work! This is the only brand we use in our household. The price is reasonable, and it's always easy to find. If I feel a slight scratchy throat I take a spoonful and it's gone!

An entirely honest slogan. Actually, I don't much mind the taste, though it is one that coats your entire mouth with menthol-y slickness that is hard to handle if you have a weak stomach or vulnerable taste buds!

Buckley's is one of the only cough syrups that I buy when I am dealing with congestion, cough, or dry and itchy throat. I typically get sick once a year when the weather changes, and it's always chest and throat symptoms that appear! Long nights are no longer spent awake, but sleeping soundly, when I have Buckley's in my system during a chest cold or flu!

Definitely my go-to for long-lasting relief of that tickling cough that won't quit.

First let me say I LOVE THE TASTE!!!! It is a strong mint taste (Menthol)!!!! If you love mint you will like this, it burns but I love it. Works really well too I use this when I have bronchitis, helps me sleep and helps me breathe better, gets rid of the fever and helps hack up that stubborn mucus. WILL buy again.
