Great products/ bad customer service

We took our daughter to build a bear for her birthday after buying her bear and accessories online unstuffed. The reindeer was great and the stuffing experience was great as well. It wasnt until we were in line to pick up the certificate that things went bad. A lady who i hadnt noticed in the store (manager i presume) came out and my son who is 6 tried to ask her something when she kind of giggled and walked off my husband asked her to please answer him as he may be 6 but a person and customer nonetheless. She got this passive attitude and answered his question then went and got the certificate herself and said here you can go now. My daughter was so sad she didnt get a box for her bear and that lady has no business working at a place like this if she doesnt know how to properly interact with small children. It made a great time quickly into a bad one from one womans lack of patience and unwillingness to simply answer a 6 year old boys question.

It's a good concept

I enjoy the concept of the store but it's expensive for the characters and they only have select ones at certain times (ex. My little ponies they change out which character is there constantly so if your looking for a specific character you.May need to go to a few stores to find the one you want) but my kids loves going and stuffing their own bears. It's an experience they can't get anywhere else.

Build a bear is a great place for Birthdays and celebrations you can make a bear for any occasion.Some start at just 10$ that is a great value if you got a big family.

Pricey but Always Worth It

BAB is pretty pricey. I mean if you only want the stuffed animal without any clothes or accessories you can get them at times for around $20 but what’s the fun in that? I like to save these trips for special occasions like birthday or vacation. My kids recently both got one while we were in Rehoboth Beach and they LOVE them. The whole experience is great for kids. They get to choose a heart and the employees have them kiss the heart and do a little dance and put the heart inside thier animal. You can also choose scented inserts so the animal smells lik something (they cost extra but the smell really does last even through washes) and voice boxes (also extra). Then they can pick from hundreds of clothing combos, including shoes. They can even get beds and wardrobes (although I’ve never gone that extravagant). It really is more than “buying” an animal. It’s a whole experience for the kids and they even get to name them and get a birth certificate for them. My on our beach trip my son got Chase from Paw Patrol complete with outfit, and my daughter got a rainbow lion which she dubbed “sprinkles” and a Wonder Woman costume. Bunny

Got my son this little bunny and he has fallen in love with it. I purchased it with a 15.00 certificate that we received so it only costed 2.00 but it was well worth it.

Fun adventure!!

Took my 4 year old niece to get her first Build a Bear, and she chose Poppy from the movie Trolls. She fell in love with her bright pink color and her silver glitter shoes the minute she saw her. It was a bit pricey at $67 after the Trolls dress, silver shoes and the recording of Poppy singing. But it was so worth seeing my nieces big brown eyes light up when they were putting Poppy’s heart inside her. The whole experience was so much fun and we got it all on video. The staff was so friendly and sweet. It’s definitely a fun experience that the little ones will remember forever!!

The joy it brings is worth the price!

I took my son to the Build-A-Bear Workshop so he could make himself a new friend he had fun every step of the process from picking out his furry pal to deciding on how squishy he wanted him all the way down to figuring out what kind of clothes he was going to wear and then getting to name him it was a fun day and a great memory

Fun for kids

I took both of my kids there for there birthdays. They have a birthday club where u olny pay the amount that the kid is turning. I only paid 2 dollars for a paw patrol pup and my daughter loved it

Gouged

I have to say this place is entirely too expensive for you to only be getting a Teddy bear. I would have to say that you should expect to spend at least $50 on each bear. That being said, my kid can't get enough of this place even though she only plays with each bear for about 1 month until she forgets about it.

Adorable!

My daughter got this for Christmas and has been in love with it ever since! She loves having the experience of making the bears herself, just like at the store! There's so many different designs and it comes with some very cute accessories! We love the fact there are other bears to buy, this toy isn't just a one time play!
