I have very fine blonde hair and this product is perfect for me. I can usually only get one day out of a shampoo but this non funky formula helps extend it to at least two days.
I bought the version for black hair and it is terrible! It is probably one of the worst hair shampoos I have ever bought. My hair felt gunky and I could not even run a hairbrush through my normally silky hair. The sephora dry shampoo is much better.
I bought this product after the hairdresser used it on my hair to create a big hairdue for my cousins wedding. This product has many uses, one to help your hair tease and hold, two to help cover roots between colours, and third is it acts similiar to a dry shampoo and if your hair is looking oily in between washes just spray a bit on and it helps.
This product works very well to create a teased look without the teasing all coming out. This in my opinion is the best purpose for this product.
To help cover roots in between colours, it can if your hair colour is very light as mine is however sometimes its hard to get the right amount on there without it being too light, i suggest put it in and comb it to the right amount, it helps hide the look of roots but doesn't completely get rid of them.
This does work well to mask the appearnace of unwashed oily hair, whether you were at the gym in between lunch hour and did not have time to wash and dry your hair in the shower afterwards or just to get an extra day in between washes.
I bought this product because my hairdresser suggested that it might help to cover up my roots between colors. It absolutely does not work for this purpose. The powder came out white and it was hard to control where the product would end up. I ended up drying out my hair because it's basically a dry shampoo. It would work well if you just used a little between shampoos to add some body to your hair but it's too expensive to even be worth it for that purpose. It doesn't even smell good :-(
