I am so happy I just borrowed one of these and did not fork out the money for my own. My baby didn't like it at all and had no use for it. I do understand all babies have different needs. However just get a bounce chair its far more interactive and you'll get tons of use out it.

My son was helped by this product 100 percent. He needed to see a physiotherapist when he was 6 months old and she has recommended this chair. About two weeks went by and he was able to sit up on his own and his back structure seemed to be a lot straighter. This was the best decision i ever made for him at that age.

A great chair for babies who don't have thighs. I got one of these as a baby shower gift and I was super excited as my girlfriend loved hers and couldn't stop raving. By the time my babes (yes, both) were ready to sit, their thighs wouldn't fit in the chair! And they were 5lbs 3oz and 6lbs 6oz at birth so not big at all. Em fit if I squished her in but then she fell over so in the garage sale it went. Don't know what all the hype is about....sorry

While this is a pretty good item I really don't see what the hype is about.
3/4 of my children were not fussy for it at allX after 2 minutes whey always try to get out of it. My boys always had their legs get cause and my little girl has a fine time...doesn't get caught. I personally don't feel it's worth it's asking price and would buy it again unless it was very cheap.

I was one of those parents that rushed out to buy one of these. Purchased the tray attachment as well. Really was pretty much a waste of money. Sure my little guy used it, but very rarely and the same sitting effect was accomplished better with pillows instead. I wouldn't do it again. The only plus is that they have a good re-sale value.

I have 3 kids, my 2 toddlers both had a bumbo chair when they were babies and once my 2 month old is ready I will most definitely be getting her one too. These things are seriously life savers, you can just put baby in there while you're cooking dinner, cleaning or whatever and he/she will be safe. They have buckles for extra protection and you can buy trays to attach to the chair as well.

These are perfect for your little ones poster, perfect when you need to quickly clean up or cook dinner and you have them put in there for a couple minutes. Works perfectly but always supervise when they are in it.

Bumbo Chairs are very expensive but every mom I know says they are a must have. Great for helping a child to learn to sit up on their own. They also have little attachable table things.

I love this seat and I don't know any mommy that wouldn't. I had this seat for all 5 of my babies. I think rhis helped a lot especially for those kids who love being held so they are sitting up. You also don't have to worry about spoiling your baby by holding them all the time. I must say whoever came up with this idea is very smart.

This was the best invention ever!! I must admit at first , I was like why would I need that. But husband brought one home. It helped tremendously with my baby's sitting and building the nessesarily muscle and strength. It's easy and portable.
I find the place I appreciate it the most is for bathing the little one, makes the bathing process so much easier than trying hold them.
