My daughter loved her bumbo. We got a ton of use out of it, and it's still in great shape for the newest kido.

However, I find the price a little daunting, and chose to buy mine 2nd hand from a close friend.
I would have paid retail, if the tray had been included in the price.

This worked excellent up until about 4 months ... then he wanted to crawl out which made it a safety danger. Now that he is up walking though he sometimes goes over and gets in. We still use this (he is 14 months) as a portable high chair (with the tray) when we travel and although I'm sure it is NOT recommended and Bumbo would advise against this ... we put it in our wagon and he rides that way and it makes as an excellent bath seat (as long as you aren't stupid enough to let them out of your sight).

It is expensive if you think about the fact that your baby will use it for about 2 months only. My son can escape from his bumbo since he's 5 months!!!!!! I got this as a gift and I was happy to use it for 2 months but I would never have paid for it (especially now that I know it's only good for 2-3 months)

I personally did not care for the Bumbo Seat, I didn't find baby looked very comfortable nor did I think it was very safe, not to mention the price! this thing is way to pricey for it being just a big lump of foam, it's light and easy to travel with to put baby somewhere for feeding but other then that I was not thrilled with it! My baby would twist and squirm until he was pretty well falling out onto the floor on his face, and the tray for these could be a lot cheaper and work better as well!

I had a borrowed one for my daughter and it was great, she loved it. We got a tray for it though, its kinda useless without it. We used it to feed her her first food, for playing and somewhere to put her before she could sit.

I bought a used one for my son. He hated it, we never used it at all for him.

So, I think its a great thing to have IF your child likes it. But I do NOT think you should pay full price for it, especially if your child hates it. Try to borrow one or find a used one for sure.

Good product but over priced.

got one of these for my son on sale and used shower money but if I had been buying it outright without the sale I feel it is a bit over priced. they are so durable though that second hand will scrub up like new very easily. My son loved it cuz he always wanted to b sitting up to look around from a very young age. Highly recommend the product for sure !

I love Bumbo chairs! I received one as a gift for my daughter, and it was the greatest gift ever. This seat is so convienient. Perfect for taking to relatives homes, restaurants, and around home. It also helped my daughter learn to sit up on her own. I also purchased the removable tray, so she had a place for her toys and snacks. They come in the cutest colours, too! I would definitely recommend this seat to everyone!

I bought a Bumbo chair second hand for my daughter when she was about 4 months old. To be honest it was the best purchase that I've made for her. She has gotten so much use out of it that it was totally worth the price even if I had of paid full price for a brand new one. She is nearly two years old now and we still bring it in the car when we are going to visit family and friends so she will have a place to sit to eat. Definitely a must have for parents with babies!
