I have one of these chairs and I think they're useless. I hate the design of the tray! I have to put my baby in the chair then in order to get the tray on I have to tilt the chair back so it can attach at the bottom. How is that safe? Or I can put my baby in the chair then bring the chair to the edge of the table so that the front is overhanging, then I can put the tray on. Maybe there is an easier way, but I don't care for this chair at all.
Let me tell you why i love these seats....... I found that it not only helped my baby learn to sit up in but it has alot of support and confort for her as well. This was great when we were sitting outside on the porch i would place her in the Bumbo chair she would be holding a little snack in her hand and I would be reading a book to her gave us great time together well giving her a little independence also love it love it love it
I used this with both of my children, my oldest even at a very young age always found a way of of it, and would tip it over. My youngest wanted nothing to do with this as it was too tight on her chunky legs.
I have mixed feelings about the Bumbo. My son always seemed to find a way out of it. He was able to lean all the way back in it and make it tip over. It seems like it works for some people, but for me the price was not worth the lack of usefulness of it.
My son loves his bumbo. We've used it ever since he was able to hold his head up while sitting. We travel with our bumbo and use it as his high chair instead of bringing one because it's so much smaller. We purchased the tray and it's easy to put on and take off. I love how easy it is to clean.
The Bumbo Baby Seat is a great product, but it is quite expensive if you buy it brand new. I would recommend either buying a brand new one if it's for your first born and you are planning on having more children so they can use it as well to get your money's worth. Otherwise just buy a used one.
The seat was actually gifted to us with our first born and now I am using it with my second child. It is still in excellent condition and looks brand new. It is so easy to clean and very light weight. It is nice that you can carry it around from room to room and even take it with you on a trip since it is not too big or heavy at all. Great for feeding your baby when they are still small but when they start to squirm and become more mobile I would recommend not using it. My son at 9 months was able to squirm his way out of it. Although it says it is ok to use up until 14 months I would recommend not using it as soon as your baby is quite active and crawling and if you think they will be able to climb out of it. Ofcourse you must keep an eye on baby at all times when they are seated in it. This seat is great for sitting up baby and to help them gain back and neck strength. It provides great support for a child to be in a seated position.
I really do like the Bumbo Baby Seat a lot and I am so glad both my children were able to use it.
While I love the bumbo, I would NOT recommend spending full price for it as there are so many available second hand in near new condition at a third of the price. The bumbo is amazing in the first few months because it allows your baby to sit up his/her own. This is helpful for feedings or just putting the baby down for a minute. I was given one second hand by my cousin thankfully. It is very easy to clean, light weight and portable.
I love this for my baby boy - the downside is for sure the price but bc its so easy to clean i bought mine second hand for 1/3 of the retail price!
Great seat for little ones!
Comfortable, easy to clean and very convenient to use :)
It might be a bit pricey, but it's worth it! :)
My friend uses this and swears by it. Her baby loves it and it really help her build her muscle and neck control. It's also nice to put her in it when we're baking and she watches us and plays with her toys. It's really easy to clean. I hear everyone complain about the price and recommend buying it second hand as it is really handy and very portable.
