nice early seat

I love this seat, it's straightforward and portable, as well as easy to clean. The tray is a little hard to attach and the bump is ripped a little where baby pushes on the tray. It's nice to be able to sit up baby and have a place for them to play.

Works great for pictures!

I find it works great for pictures because you can cover the seat with a blanket and get cute pictures of your baby sitting up in it. After a while my baby seems to leans forward in the seat.

Not for thick babies

I have a chunky monkey and I thought he would love this thing. It's definitely not the case. My neices who were all smaller loved there's, but if you have a little one w big thighs you might wanna try another seat.

Would recommend

Keeps my son sitting up right and now equipped with a seat belt. Easy to use and nice to have around the house.Light weight and a easy to carry. Don't like how tight the leg holder are.

Confort pour bébé

Ma petite-fille a eu ce banc quand elle a commencé à vouloir s'asseoir. Elle était très confortable et très heureuse de pouvoir enfin s'asseoir au lieu d'être couchée. Le banc est sécuritaire et confortable, évidemment c'est un peu cher pour le peu de temps que ça dure!

Not for every baby

I was disappointed when it was obvious my son did not like the Bumbo seat at all. I thought they were so awesome and great for the little ones to start sitting in. Luckily, I didn't have to buy one as I had borrowed the one my sister had gotten for her son who loved it.
Since I noticed it was very much so a hit and miss for many babies, I would suggest buying a used seat or borrow one to try and see if your baby likes it before buying new.

Cheap product but dont find it very useful

We were given the bumbo seat as a gift. While it is cheap and fairly durable, our baby doesn't seem to like it that much. I would borrow one first before buying incase your baby does not like it.

Je n'ai jamais pu l'utiliser...

Je crois que ce siège est uniquement fait pour les bébés de petites tailles puisque je n'ai jamais pus y installer ma fille. Soit elle était trop jeune pour bien se tenir la tête ou qu'elle était déjà trop grande (grosse) pour y entrer. Je n'ai donc jamais utiliser mon siège, qui, selon moi, est très dispendieux pour la durée de l'utilisation que l'on en fait habituellement.

I read all these reviews about NOT putting baby in the Bumbo until he was sitting up on his own - instead of using it to "train" him to sit up, because it was essentially trapping him in there, and he wasn't strengthening any of his own muscles.
With the tray, it was perfect as his first place to learn to eat solids, while I sat on the floor next to him. For a while, we stopped using it because he wouldn't fit, but now that he's slimmed down (all that walking and crawling!) he fits in it again and likes to get into on his own (but can't get out!)

Our granddaughter got her Bumbo baby sitter chair with tray for a baby shower gift.. It was a great gift idea. Kept her propped up at the dinner table. She used it for about 10 months. vERY HANDY.
