Velvety

This lipstick left my lips soft and velvety. I loved how it was longlasting and the colours bright. The only problem I had was with the aplicator was not really the best but I guess a different applicator could be used? I do recommend it as a luxury makeup item.

These lipsticks are truly luxurious! They're so incredibly comfortable to wear and although they aren't transfer proof, they are long-wearing. The finish is gorgeous (satin) but it does take some finess to apply them correctly. The applicator can make lining your lips a bit challenging so it's best to use a brush to define your lips.

I want to say that these were a breeze to use, but there were a few obstacles involving product consistency and application though at first glance the solid build of the matte packaging is truly luxurious and bears the mark of a first class product. As with most lip products of this nature, we have the standard doe-foot applicator though I found because of the whipped nature of this product, I preferred using a more defined lip brush to smooth out the edges of my lips. If you're willing to work a little harder for perfect application then yes these Burberry Liquid Lip Velvets live up to their claims, but if you can't be bothered then I would move on and try one of their Full Kisses lipsticks instead.
