100% OF CHICKS DIG IT
Ok, but not great
I received 2 100% Natural Origin Defining Eyeliner in the shades "Mulberry" and "Onyx" for free in exchange for my honest opinion.
I really liked both of these colours, especially the Mulberry, as it is a beautiful shade of purple. They were fairly pigmented, but did not last long on the waterline.
These liners glided smoothly when testing them on my hand, but were a little less smooth when applying to my eyelids. They worked better in the waterline but still required a second pass.
I like that they contain Jojoba oil and Shea Butter, which helps to nourish my lashes to keep them healthy. I also really like that they are retractable.
Overall, they are decent liners for everyday looks, but might not be suitable for more dramatic looks.
Burt's Bees Eyeliner
I received one eyeliner shade name onyx (would consider this black) and one shade name mulberry (would consider this purple). I normally wear black eyeliner daily. The eyeliner comes in a pencil/stick with a replaceable cap. You can twist it to raise the product up (noted as retractable) and I found that easy to do and effective. It seemed like a good quality product that I think is worth the price. It was very easy to apply and went on smoothly without smudging. I found the onyx colour came out very well. The mulberry colour I was interested in since I don't normally wear any other colours when it comes to eyeliner except sometimes brown. However I found the pigment wasn't very strong and it didn't apply as well as the black/onyx (it was harder to see). The mulberry did look better in the waterline but not as an eyeliner in my opinion as the colour didn't come out very strong. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a reasonably priced eyeliner.
Love it
It is very easy and simple to use. The eyeliner has a gel like texture which is easy to remove if you tend to mess up like me. Although, the colour was a little light and I had to go over it again to make it pop, its an amazing product.
Average
I got the eyeliner to try in exchange of my honest reviews in the shade mulberry and onyx. I like the applicator easy to apply and texture is smooth glides on eyes wait and perfect of everyday makeup. The think that disappointed me is the longevity. I last for only few hours and can be easily removed just with a smudge.
Good
Burt’s Bees Defining Eyeliner in shades, Onyx & Mulberry.
It is a retractable eyeliner. It has a gel-like creamy finish that glides smoothly. The color is nice and dark. It looked good on my eye and was easy to apply.
Onyx is a nice color and something that I can apply more often.
Mulberry isn’t a color that I would use very often as im not a colored eyeliner fan but I can create some eye makeup looks with the mulberry colored eyeliner as the formula is sooo good and the color is very pretty.
Colour- mulberry
I love the colour of this eyeliner! It goes perfectly with the Burt's bees matte stick in liquid honey. I've always used black eyeliner but I decided to try something new and it definitely paid off! I think this is my new favourite colour. It really makes your eyes and eyeshadow pop! I will definitely be buying this again and again.
Easy Application
This eyeliner glided on with little effort. The line is very fine and can be built up to give the look you want. The soft brown colour really popped out and accentuated my eyes, but in a natural way. If you rub your eye, it will smudge a little bit. This is by far my preferred Burt’s Bees eyeliner.
Overall I really liked this eyeliner and am unable to think of anything negative. For 100% natural origins, this is worth the purchase price.
