    Versatile

Great product! Super smooth and with a pigmentation that is buildable. In addition to blush, it also works on the lips! It has an amazing smell. Its a great quality/price item

    Great product

Burts Bees lip and cheek stick is available in 6 shades. I tried 1250 suez sands and 1253 dahlia dew. I liked the way both colours looked on my lips and I am very happy with the results. They feature a coconut oil core and deliver great nourishment. I however am not sure I’d use the same sticks on my cheeks that I did on my lips.

    Cute!

I'm definitely more of a "Matte lipstick" kind of girl, so if I'm being honest, I would probably like their liquid lipsticks a lot more than these sticks. That being said, I didn't dislike the product. I have stated several times how the cold and the wind we've been having this Winter in Canada had my lips feeling pretty irritated so I've tried to let them breathe a little while only applying lip balms with moisturizer lately. This was a welcome touch of color on my lips! Of course, it transfers. It's a balm, so I'm not mad about that. I'm positive I'll use it a lot more during the Summer just to give my lips a touch of color while keeping them hydrated! #freeproduct

    Lovely looking as a blush

There are definitely things I like about this blush stick and some things I don't. I'm partial to a cream blush stick, possibly because it's what my mother used, so it brings back memories and I was excited to try this. Compared to a powder blush, it has a dewy, shimmery glow and more of a wet look and feel when it's on. This means it's pretty good for dry skin, or older looking skin, that needs a little extra moisture. It's subtle, but surprisingly easy to overdo (see my pics where I was a bit heavy handed at times). Though you can blend it out, it's often difficult to realise how bold it is until the light hits, so check it in different rooms and with harsh lighting before applying extra.

It doesn't really have a smell and due to being pretty moisturising it feels really comfortable and dewy on the skin. I love that it's all natural, but I do feel it's a bit overpriced. When fully extended (see Dahlia Dew pic) there really isn't that much product there, so it's up to you to decide if the price is right for you. For me, it's a tad much for too little product. Another reason for this is that it doesn't really wear that long. A problem I've found frequently with natural products is that they lack staying power. Within 5 hours max, the blush stick is gone, absorbed into the skin with nary a trace. I also don't like it as a lip colour, it feels uncomfortable, is difficult to apply with the chunky stick and feels like they just needed an extra gimmick.

As a blush stick though, I do like it and feel it gave a pretty, natural and subtle colour and glow that could be built upon. I also liked the colours, of which I tried two.

Dahlia Dew: A bit dark for my skin, so I was probably a bit heavy-handed, I would recommend this for darker skin tones than mine (which coincidentally is 'Ghost'). A darker red with a kind of mauve undertone.

Suez Sands - This is a lot pinker than expected (with a name like sands), but pretty much fits my colour profile! It's a lovely pinkish coral that is quite shiny and gives a lovely rosy look to the cheeks. I'd use this one again, for sure.

    Horrible!!

I recieved this product in shade Dhalia Dew for a product review from Burts Bees, and It's horrible. I do not recommend burts bees cosmetics at all. Its the biggest most overpriced flop I have ever tried. I used this lip & cheek stick on my lips and it feels like you're solely wearing oil on your lips. It smears, smudges and transfers to anything your lips touch.

I also recieved this product in shade Suez Sands for a product review for Burts Bees. I have never hated a blush so much in my whole life. haha. This Lip & cheek sick is horribly greasy, it smears, smudges & lifts your foundation & leaves your face looking one hella hot a$$ mess!!
