It's lip chap. What can I say.
I stopped using it, the labelling makes it seem like it would be more natural. I had to apply often, and at the end of the day my lips were still chapped. Found a natural alternative and use that now vs Burt's bees.
Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm is no different than other lip balms. It keeps your lips moisturized for a bit but you have to keep on applying.
I, thankfully, rarely have to wear chap stick but, I have tried Burt's Bees and I found that, not only did it feel heavy on my lips, it actually seemed to dry them out.
The price is, in my opinion, quite a bit more than other brands and, without it being effective for me, I would not purchase it again in the future.
I was very exited to use this product, however it did not work for me. When im having to put lip balm on 10 times a day, and after a month my lips are still chapped.. it doesnt work.
I love what burts bees stands for but i find all there chap sticks doesn't keep my lips moist for very long, i can only use the peppermint as the other flavors hurt and irritate my lips
All of their other products are great..except for the lip balms.. it makes your lips ultra soft but for only 5 minutes. For the price they charge and the kind of excellence they have in other product they manufacture- the lip balms are definately not a great deal.
I have burst bees in several flavours, I have enjoyed the tubes versions a lot. This review will be based in the peppermint flavour that comes in a tin. I don't think it has the same consistency as the tubes balms, feels thinner and less moisturizing. I do enjoy the minty tingle that I feel on the lips though. I would stick with Burt bees lip balms in a tube if you want something moisturizing.
I found that, for me, it actually did not work. Unfortunately, I found that it was causing my lips to burn when applied so I had to stop using it.
I feel like burt's bees changed their lip balm formula because I used to like them a lot better when they first came out. They didn't smell as nice (had a very strong beeswax-y smell) and their texture was a lot thicker, but they worked so much better on my lips and had more natural ingredients. That being said, its still an ok lip balm but it was much better before. I don't plan to repurchase.
