95% OF CHICKS DIG IT
OK so I tried this thing.....its good...but I find it kind of WAXY... i know I know...its bees Wax but really...i wish there was a little bit more moisture too it. It almost feels like spreading candle wax onto your lips...but if you can get over that its a good product...I would give it a 3.5
I'm not gunna lie - I found this chapstick to be really mediocre, especially considering the $5 price tag. $5 for a chapstick is a bit pricey for me. $2 is more reasonable.
I chose this because it was all natural and the reviews were so high. I'm a chronic lip picker and I was hoping the waxy texture would prevent me from picking as much. It didn't help me. I found that I had to put this on repeatedly (like 10 coats back and forth and back and forth) just so I could feel like there was something on my lips. After about 15 minutes I felt like i had to reapply it again. The scent isn't lovely either...
It's an average lip balm. I prefer BonneBelle and Avon chapsticks - especially Avon. I love my Avon chapsticks. The seasonal ones like the Halloween flavors, the Autumn flavors, and the Christmas flavors have wonderful scents, and the texture is fantastic. Glides on smooth and lasts for a couple hours. I buy them in sets on ebay.
Overall, I like the stick better then the container, purely for ease of use and not getting your finger greasy from the product. I found it good at actually healing and treating dry lips rather then just a sent or gloss. Personally, I found the peppermint smell and feel to be too strong. It made my lips feel tingly.
When I first used this lip balm I really didn't think I was going to like it. At first the beeswax scent was a little overpowering, but once I got past that I really liked it. Moisturizes well, although, on bad days I still feel I have to reapply often.
When it comes to lip protection I look for lip balm that will make my lips soft. I found Burt's Bees lip balm on sale at Wal-Mart and decided to try it. It contains beeswax, coconut oil and sunflower oil. The beeswax is included to lock in moisture. It does lock it in but the beeswax makes it hard to put on. It has to be warm in order to put it on. I like that it has a minty tingle to it. I like it because of the tingle and it smells minty. I put it on when I go out on a date. But I put lipgloss on top to make it last longer. It makes me smell wonderful along with the other fragrance I put on. The only bad thing about this product is that it wears off too quickly. The average lip balm stays on for more than 20 minutes. Not this stuff. Within 15 minutes it feels flaky or dry. I don't like the after affect.
I had heard a lot about Burt's Bees products so I decided to try the lipbalm. It was a bit pricey compared to the everyday stuff. It worked ok but not much better than cheaper lipbalms. The worst part was that it got a little bit gritty.
Yuk!
It was an okay lip balm. It wasn't amazing. I didn't like the smell. I probably used it about 4 times. I keep it in the bottom of the drawer in case I lose all my other lip balms.
I have the burts bees raspberry lip gloss in the glass jar, with the tin lid (very small in size), i bought it for 12 dollars. I guess its okay, it moisturizes your lips while its on, but when it dries off, your lips feel very chapped so you feel the need to apply more. Its okay but i wouldnt recommend for you to buy it because of its price, and okay quality, this little jar only comes in one size, and mine was gone in about 3 weeks.
I bought the small round tin and, as with most people, was excited to try it. It's not a bad product...I don't find that my lips feel chapped after application. I actually find that it coats my lips quite well...on 1st application, that is! I find that it does wear off really quickly, so you have to keep applying. The reason I don't recommend this is that it's a bit pricey, given its effectiveness.
It's got a minty taste that's quite nice. Overall, if it were to last longer, I'd recommend it.
