Wonderful lipstick
I bought one of these just yesterday and I am already in love. Very nice packaging, great light smell, very soft application. The colour is just shiny enough and very nice saturation. If anything, I do find it slightly dry feeling but not enough to complain.
Pretty shades
I have four lip shades and find each color are well pigmented and last long. I didn’t think I would like some of their colors like the sandy seas, but seeing how it gives off a minimal natural look I like it.
So good
I think this liquid lipstick is by far the best one I have ever tried. It's not drying and makes my lips look super juicy. The color is really pretty too. It’s not matte and transfer-proof, but I don’t mind at all. A+
Burtabee liquid lipstick is amazing
Liquid lipsticks: I received four of the liquid lipsticks. # 821 drenched Dahlia, # 810 flushed petal, # 831 Waters, and # 801 Sandy seas. I like the color choices that they sent me because I like to vary my lip color depending on the type of eyeshadow or the color eyeshadow that I'm wearing. I also like to color coordinate with clothing makeup the full attire. I like the fact that Burt's bees is trying out new products rather than just the chapstick, lotions ect that I'm used to using.
Long lasting and fun colours
I’ve been looking for a fun pink lipstick and have tried several brands without any luck! Recently I was gifted a box with 4 shades of liquid lipstick. I was so eager to try Flushed Petal and it was a perfect shade of pink for me! Now that I’ve used the product for 3 weeks I feel like I can review it and comment on the long lasting wear! The lipstick is also moisturizing throughout the day and not flaking off!
Pretty good
These liquid lipsticks are okay..I’ve used better, I've used worse. They are not dehydrating like most liquid lipsticks on the market, they are very sticky and moisturizing! Which I don’t mind. They are very pigmented and smell lovely 😊
Nice colours and moisturizing
I love Burt’s bees lip products and these are amazing lipsticks. The formula is long lasting. It’s also moisturizing and i love that it’s 100% natural. The colours are vibrant and pigmented. I have tried Sandy Seas, Flushed Petal, Drenched Dahlia & Wine Waters. They are all great shades that I would wear over and over.
Very moisturizer
First time buying this kind of lipstick, I has very surprised with the results. The formula is very creamy and moisturized my lips a lot, the color is true match. At the end my lips are super soft.
Some good, some bad
I was a bit worried when I tried it, because it's very thick and gloopy and I felt that it would be cakey. One good thing I can say about it, though, is it isn't cakey. When it goes on it's very comfortable to wear and doesn't feel heavy or odd on the lips. I do find it a bit strange that the texture is so thick and gloopy, considering it feels nice on and I wish it was easier to spread around. I had awful trouble getting a decent line (as you can see from the picture) and really wish it had a finer, more finessed brush. I was happy that it didn't dry out my lips, since I have damaged lips and dry products show up every piece of damage.
I do like that it's natural, but if you're looking for a product that will last all day, this isn't it. It lasts reasonably well if nothing touches your lips, but never completely 'dries' so if you touch your lips, it does transfer. When you eat or drink, it easily comes off and must be reapplied. However, it naturally absorbs throughout the day and won't leave your lips looking weird if you don't re-apply it, so that's a plus!
It has no strong taste, but it does smell a bit plasticky (strangely), like how older glosses tended to smell, perhaps because it's not scented with artificial ingredients. I find the tubes are very small, much smaller than normal lip gloss tubes, so be aware of this if you plan to purchase.
I tried three colours of this; Drenched Dahlia, Mauve Meadow and Rushing Rose and actually they were very similar colours. Not really my colour, but I'm not going to judge it on the colour as if you pick the wrong colour, it's pretty much your own fault. In terms of the darker colours, it's actually difficult to get colour payoff, because if you make it really thick it feathers. So I'd recommend wearing this with a lip liner for sure and it's not suitable for those with heavy lines around the lips, such as older ladies. I ended up blotting it a lot as I didn't like how dark it was. So my pictures are of 'Drenched Dahlia' with a blotted lip. I found the colours to be quite similar.
Overall, there's bad and good. It's natural, not tested on animals, comfo
rtable to wear, doesn't dry lips or smell weird. But on the bad side, it's thick and gloopy, difficult to apply, tends to feather and you're paying a big price for a small amount.
Léger rouge à lèvre , qui donne plus une sensation d'hydratation que de rouge à lèvre opaque. Donne un aspect bonne mine aux lèvres. À une tenue moyenne.
