Clean budget product

Is this the best clean eyeliner there is? No. But it’s a good bang for your buck comes in more than one shade and is easy to use. Sharpens well and can often find on sale

Little Smudgy

I have mixed feelings about this eyeliner. It has so many wonderful properties, but I did find it was easy to smudge. Now if you’re unlike me and able to keep your hands off your eyes for 5 minutes this won’t be an issue for you.

Now for the wonderful properties:

Goes on easy with very little pressure
The shades are soft, not stark like most
Doesn’t irritate
Easily removed
Responsibly sourced

All in all this is a pretty good eyeliner, but it loses a star because it smudged with me.

A good eyeliner

this was one of my favourite products from the Burts bees makeup line. the eyeliner went on super easily and did not irritate my eyes. it was pretty dark and made my eyes pop. I like the ingredients in it because the product is being placed so close to my eyes.

no drag when applying

This liner applies super buttery and glides along your water line, so there is no drag across your eyelids during application. The only downside is that this lines is not waterproof, so for a girl with oily lids, by mid-way, the line starts to fade and wear away.

Nice natural eyeliner

I have a personal bias against pencil eyeliners only because I prefer liquid eyeliner for a clean defined look. But as a pencil eyeliner, this is a good product. It goes on smoothly and is very gentle on your eyes. I love that it is 99.9% natural, made with jojoba oil. It claims that it resists fading which isn't true. but it does resist against smearing. The MSRP is 12.99 which is quite steep for a drug store brand eyeliner. I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review.

Pricey but Effective

I received the BURT'S BEES NOURISHING EYELINER to try for free and I enjoyed the product. It is 99% natural and comes from a brand that I know and trust. I tried the color soft black which is a very good color description. It was almost like a smoky black, or a black grey. I used it to line both my top and bottom and found that the look was subtle. It still enhanced my eyes but was not as noticeable as I am used to. I love that the product is made with Jojoba oil to help nourish and that it also uses responsibly sourced cedar wood pencils! Such a great idea. The product comes in three colors and retails for $12.99 which for me is quite pricey. I can purchase other eyeliner pencils from the drugstore that are much more pigmented and that last longer. I would recommend this for days when you want a subtle look.
