Very drying! Would not buy again.
Purchased because my skin is a mix of very dry and very oily and tend to get quite red. Tried this cleanser out and found it so drying! My skin would feel so tight all day after using. Would not recommend.
This cleaner is okay but it doesn't remove all my make up.
Usually I will clean my face with a face towel first and then use this cleaner in the shower with a face cloth because using it on its own is a waste of time and product and it does not remove enough. The cleaner does leave my face nice and soft after my shower but I wouldn't buy it again because it doesn't have anything to it that says " i'm an amazing cleaner" for some reason i found the soap smells weird , kinda like a weird plastic smell . Probably one of the worst face cleaner I've purchased. It does not live to expectation at all.
I hated every thing about this product. It stinks, left my skin feeling gross and didn't feel clean. Use it a few times thinking it would get better but ended up tossing it in the garbage.
First I have to say that ihad to call Burt's Bees customer service as I was unsure on how to use this product. It doesn't say if you should rinse off or not. Because it is very creamy, I thought maybe you had to put it on a cotton ball and just wipe your face but no, you have to use it as any other cleanser, foam on wet face and rinse.
As I previously said, this cleanser is very very creamy, and I felt that it is like washing your face with your night cream. And because it is thick, I find it difficult to rinse off.
It is gentle on the skin it I don't like the texture and that I don't know if my skin is free of any product left, doesn't feel squeaky clean.
Overall, I don't like this cleanser and would not recommend it.
If they wanted to be for people with sensitive skin, it would be 100% natural. I switched from my usual less expensive 100% natural product. I had a reaction the first time I used it, my face and neck all got red splotches and was rather irritated for a time afterwards. After doing some searching I realized that there was witch hazel in the product which my skin won't tolerate (it is sensitive after all) this was a waste for me, and my skin 3 weeks after trying it only 2 times on my skin is still adversely reacting to it with a bad break out that just doesn't seem to want to clear up. I will stick with my less expensive 100% natural products over this Burt's Bees ever again touches my face.
