Buxom calls this line "a whole new breed" of shadow. Right now they're "exclusive" to Sephora. They come in cute names and support a wonderful cause, Canine Companions for Independence, a not-for-profit organization that provides assistance dogs to people with disabilities.

That alone made the purchase worth it. But take that away, and it falls flat. I didn't love it, nor did I hate it - i.e. there was nothing special that made it worth its pricetag.

Mutt, a bronzed taupe, is a universally flattering colour and perfect for everyday use. So my purchase wasn't a total bust.
