I grew up with two Cabbage Patch kids, one of the originals and the other that could go in water. I remember always having the water kid in the bath with me. My brother also had one that looked like him. The doll is made with such good quality that 30 years later his own little girl is playing with that same doll. She loves how it looks like Daddy and how it was his when he was a child.
I remember my little sister, who is 13 years younger than me, had a Cabbage Patch Doll with blond hair like hers. She had to have it every night or she wouldn't go to sleep. She had it practically glued to her until she grew out of that stage. She still has it. Our Walmart sells them and here in Georgia, is where they're made. You can actually go to the store.
I was in love with my cabbage patch doll as a child. I took her everywhere with me.
Than one day I came home from school and found that my dog had chewed her beyond repair.
I was so sad I have tried to replace her ever since but can't find the doll anymore
Own the dolls as kids, and still have them as well. I own the cartoon movies and shows on vhs and more. I was a huge fan and I remember that. I used to play with the dolls often as a kid. These still exist so your kid may like these dolls as well.
What do you think, do you own them?
Love them! I still have my childhood cabbage patch kids doll. I remember it being one of my favorite childhood toys! They are so different and adorable.
These dolls smell so wonderful and are absolutely huggable. It's always fun to be able to find one that was born on your child's birthday. Little girls especially love to play Mama and they will cherish their Cabbage Patch baby.
