Fun way to encourage self care

My daughter just entered Kindergarten and had zero interest in combing hair or getting ready in the morning. We bought her a Caboodle and filled it with various color clips and hair ties and she absolutely loves it. She takes more interest in getting ready and also uses it for pretend play with her dolls. I think sometimes it is helpful to have your own kids version of items to get kids to take interest and this also keeps it all tidy.
