Yummy
Comprised of 20% pure shea butter, this iconic formula is perfectly rich and simply-the-best in intensive hand repair. Blended with a decadent buttercream frosting in mind, this balm perfectly coats your hands with nourishment, sinking in quickly for noticeably softer, smoother hands, without the harsh chemicals. Topped off with the beloved scent of our warm french vanilla blend, this balm is the ultimate in ultra-ultra indulgence.
Smells yummy
True to its name, this hand cream smells exactly like cake frosting. It is a nice warm vanilla-y smell. Works well and you can purchase it for under $10 at Shoppes Drug Mart. It is comprised of 20% shea butter so it sits on top of your skin for a little bit before absorbing. I love that it is paraben free and cruelty free. Worth the money.
Very strong hand cream
I like how thick this hand cream is and it does a very good job in keeping my hands moisturized. However, the smell of it is extremely sweet and far too strong for my liking.
Good moisturizer
I have very dry hands. I have tried other Cake hand creams before but they were not moisturizing enough for me. I was happy to try the heavy cream intensive hand cream repair balm. This product provides good moisture to my hands. My hands absorbed it quickly.
Smells great and does the job
The smell is probably why I love it so much, however it is relly mosturizing and doesnt leave my hands shiny or greasy which is a win in my books. I wouldnt reccomend this if youre sensitive to smells as it can be overbearing at times
A heavy cream for dry hands.
I received this in my Chick Advisor Premium welcome bag but have only used it recently. Since the colder weather has arrived my hands needs some extra pampering. This cream is so thick and moisturizing. It leaves my hands feeling soft and smooth. I recommend only using a small amount because of its thickness.
Although I donth like the scent, thats just my perdonal preference. I personally don't like overly sweet scents. A light vanilla scent would have been fine but I find this cream is a bit too sweet and has a somewhat sour undertone to it. I can also lightly pick up the coconut scent as well. As far as this cream goes it works well but I would prefer if it had a peppermint scent like the cake foot lotion I'm using.
Great smell, not hydrating enough
I love this brand and I think they make awesome products, however, this hand cream was a miss for me. While the scent is lovely, it was not hydrating enough for my hands. I also felt it was not very absorbant. Whenever I washed my hands, it just came off. It's advertise as intensive repair, but my dry hands got no relief or basic moisturising. Great company, but this product just didn't work for me.
great product
I have received a sample of Cake Beauty Heavy Cream Intensive Hand Repair in my Well.ca order and I was surprised how well it worked for me. My hands are extremely dry and it has been hard to find a great cream for them that's not drying or leaving them greasy. My skin absorbed the cream very quickly and left my hands moisturized, soft and smelling so good!
Great product!
I am a chef. My hands are in and out of sanitizer water and are constantly being washed and trust me the soap isn't the greatest for keeping my skin nice and soft lol. But with this cream my hands are coming back to life. Its been about a week and I can start to see my hands look healthier. The cream is a bit heavy but the end results are great!
I received a 1 oz (30 ml) sample size of this with my Chick Advisor Premium Membership welcome package. It smelled heavenly and was very thick coming out of the tube. Applying it to my hands, it wasn't greasy and absorbed nicely into my skin. My only dislike is that a full tube costs about $22 CDN which is a bit more than I am willing to pay for a hand cream no matter how well it works. Not sure if I would repurchase.
