I am so glad to have gotten this cream for my hands! It smells so good - just as it says on the tube, like a warm french vanilla. It really is a heavy cream so the tube needs to be squeezed a bit hard to push out a little - but just a little is all you need, so I think they must have had that in mind when packaging. A little less than an inch-long strip put on the top of one hand and rubbed in with the top of the other hand was all I needed. Speaking about packaging, I was very happy to see a protective seal when opening the tube.

When first rubbing it in, the scent is so deliciously fresh and natural, like an oven at the very moment it's time to take out a vanilla cake. It isn't greasy and even after a few hand washes, the hint of vanilla still works its calming magic and my hands stay soft and hydrated without need to reapply.

The price is acceptable when I consider the ingredients of what they put in - and more importantly, what they leave out so that my hands are able to take in all the french vanilla beauty with zero discomforts.
I will definitely buy this hand cream again and totally recommend it to everyone.

I love this hand cream! The vanilla scent smells so good and lasts along time even after washing hands. My hands felt soft instantly after applying the Cake hand cream. I recommend this product to anyone who likes to have soft hands and a delicious scent as well! Love, love, love!!! I will definitely purchase this product and recommend it to others as well.

I'm very confused by the smell. This thing really smells like cake! Almost licked my fingers a few times.

The cream is very thick and looks like it would never absorb. But surprisingly it soaked in very quickly and completely (albeit, avoid the palms area.). I had a few hangnails that are now almost gone after only 2 days of use. Left the skin super soft. Not a bad hand cream at all. Except the smell is messing me up... ?!

I like the packaging too, it looks very sophisticated, and the colour choice is attractive.

This came in my January kit, and it initially was cold from being in my mail box so I thought that was making the tube hard to squeeze but no it was the tube as i tried again after it warmed to room temperature. so either the cream is too thick for the tube or it should be in different packaging. but the main reason for my less than glowing review, the smell, which is quite cloying and does not dissipate quickly and the lack of absorption. i know some people like that but i don't like anything sticky or that doesn't absorb and it makes me feel like i need to wash my hands again negating the usefulness of hand cream.

I received this as part of the Chick Advisor welcome bag. I had not heard of the brand before, but having just used the product for the last couple of days, I'm very impressed. It has a sweet, non traditional scent..like cookies. It is nice and thick, which I love for an overnight cream. Absorbs pretty quickly, leaving your hands well moisturized, and still a nice scent lingering. I wish I had tried it sooner, I would have loved to take advantage of the CA discount.

I received this product as part of the ChickAdvisor Premium welcome bag. I received the travel sized product - 30 mL. The 60 mL product on the product website goes for $7 - meaning my 30 mL of product is worth about $3.50. For what it is - that's a very reasonable price!
The cream is definitely a cream - not a lotion. It's VERY thick! You actually have to squeeze the tube to get the product out - it is too thick to just leak out like a normal lotion would.
I wouldn't say that this product absorbs any more quickly than normal hand lotions/creams - but it does seem to absorb more fully. Within about 10 minutes the skin is non-greasy to the touch and the product has soaked in, leaving the skin feeling supple and soft. I work at a job that requires me to wash my hands 20+ times per day and they're cracked and dry at the end of the day. I wouldn't wear this lotion at work (it washes off first wash) but it is perfect to apply to my hands after work when I can really let it sink in (perfect for overnight wear also without having to worry about greasy marks on your sheets). I really like that this cream doesn't sting my cracked, sensitive hands.
THE SMELL IS AMAZING! I think it smells just like vanilla icing. When I put it on my hands and sat down beside my husband he asked "were you baking cupcakes?" Boy was he disappointed to find out it was my hand cream! It really does smell that good (and the smell is pretty strong - it lingers for a solid 30 minutes or so)
Overall, I would purchase this product again. The price is reasonable, and the product is fantastic. This product is on par for what I have been paying for my current hand cream (O'Keefe's) - I am excited to see what my hands look like after a week of using it. Will have to order more in a larger size - I want to use this stuff on my legs, also!
If you're' looking for a REALLY HYDRATING hand cream (would work well for feet, too) that has a really delicious smell (but very sweet - avoid if you hate sweet!) then give this one a try. I'm very pleased that ChickAdvisor sent me one to try - it will be incorporated into my routine for sure.

I would give this cream a better review, except it just isn't for me. I'm sensitive to strong smells, and although this is a pleasant enough smell, when it's radiating from your hands throughout the day, it may start to make you nauseated. That being said, my hands were definitely more hydrated, so it wasn't all for naught.

Now, I've found great reviews of this product, and don't deny that A LOT of people would really enjoy this product, and given to the right person would make a great gift. However, if you are sensitive to smells, beware! This may be a little too much for the sensitive person.

I am really loving cake beauty intensive hand repair for my husband. he is a painter and his hands get so dry and cracked during winter months but he has been using this for a week and he says his hands feel amazing. he says he would definitely recommend this to everyone.

When they say "heavy cream", they really aren't kidding! It's a super thick, super rich formula that - surprise! - soaks in beautifully and leaves no residue other than a delicious cake-like scent. I say "surprise" only because I'm used to having a little grease left behind from my other products. Most recently I was using plain coconut oil on my driest skin during the winter and while it was effective for me, my skin was still always oily.

Of all the Cake Beauty products I've purchased so far, this is definitely my favourite. I love that it doesn't have many of the controversial ingredients so I feel good about using it. It's also made in Canada! Sure, it's a little more expensive than what I've bought in the past but it's worlds better too so I think it's definitely worth it. Great gift idea too!
