Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Cooking Time: 0
Servings: 14

Ingredients:
1 cake (510 g) McCain® Deep 'n Delicious® Vanilla CakeChocolate Cake, or Marble Cake
8 oz (250 g) white or dark chocolate, melted
3 tbsp (45 mL) round sprinkles

Scrape 1/3 of the frosting from the top of the cake. Save for another use.

Crumble cake and remaining frosting into a bowl. Beat with hand mixer on medium speed just until crumbled. Roll mixture into 1 1/4-inch (3 cm) balls and transfer to parchment lined baking trays.

Dip the tips of the lollipop sticks into melted white chocolate and insert into each ball. Place in freezer for 5 mins or until chocolate is set and balls are firm.

Dip cake pops into chocolate, gently shaking off excess. Garnish with sprinkles. Freeze for 5 minutes or until chocolate is set. Store cake pops in refrigerator until ready to serve.

Tips: Replace the round sprinkles with toasted desiccated coconut.

This recipe came up at the right time..I tried this receipe out for a playdate. The convenience of having the cake & icing done made it easy peezy, saved me so much time. I added my own personal final touches, super cute! The kids tried them out & if I can say so my self, delicious!

This recipe was good but nothing special. You could have used any cake for this recipe but what makes these cake pops good is the icing your using from the cake. The icing is the best part! I am personally not a fan of cake pops thats why I am not giving these the best rating. I made these for a gift for a friend and she loved them!

ive made mad cake pops from scratch, and from a mix, and this is wayyy easier. you literally just have to assemble, so no baking is required and theres no messing this up because you already know it tastes as delicious as a mccain cake!

Cake pops are delicious in every form! But the McCain deep and delicious cake pops are incredibly easy to make! It's so much easier than baking cake pops from scratch

Great starter recipe that you can spice up and make it your own by decorating the cake pops with different sprinkles and chocolate dips. Easy to prep and make! Perfect party favours and cake replacement at a party.
