Works well

Works well to freshen up hair.
Disliked the scent though (was supposed to smell like "warm vanilla", but just stinks honestly!). Luckily, the smell goes away after you brush it through hair.

Not bad, not amazing.

I wanted to really LOVE this dry shampoo, but it just doesn't work for my hair and what I need. I didn't find it added any volume at all - I actually found the opposite, like it weighed my hair down. It definitely helped me get a second day out of my hair (which is fine and tends to be oily quickly) but I had to wear it up the 2nd day because it looked oily without the shine when I wore it down. Wearing it up it looked dry and clean, but again, no volume at all. The smell is really good too.

I like this dry shampoo however it is nothing special. I have dark hair and it did not make my hair look white which is a plus but other than that it is about the same as all other products like it

I received this as a sample size in my monthly beauty box. Omg I was just hooked on the scent alone! Smells delicious, works well in oily roots, doesn't leave any residue or white in my dark brunette hair. I didn't notice much on the volume part but I have fine hair as it is. I went out and purchased a big bottle when I used up my sample. This brand is a little pricey but I always try to buy things on sale which makes it more worth it.

my favourite dry shampoo

I love this dry shampoo for refreshing my oily roots before going out at night or on the second day. I have very dark brunette hair and do not have any issues with a white cast as long as I give my hair a decent brushing after using
The dry shampoo smells like vanilla cake and is very effective. I would prefer if it was sold in a non-aerosol format like the brand's tinted dry shampoos.

The Cake Volumizing Dry Shampoo Spray is one of the worst dry shampoos I have ever used. I have thick highlighted straight hair and I try to go 2-3 days without washing. I thought I would try this dry shampoo when I saw it was on sale at Shopper's. The packaging looked cute and the bottle contained a decent amount of product. The aerosol spray functioned well and coated my roots evenly with product. However, the smell was so sickly sweet and strong it gave me a headache as the day progressed. Moreover, I work in healthcare and am not allowed to wear scented products. Finally, it did not do a good job of absorbing extra oil from my hair. I am very disappointed in this product and threw it away without finishing it.

I have fine, limp, oily hair and dry shampoo is a must for me. I have tried just about every brand out there and I can honestly say this is a miss! It did nothing for my hairs volume, left my strands stringy and kind of waxy, and did not absorb much oil. I tried it a few different times with similar results. For the price (which is insanely high) this is not at all worth it. Pros are that it does smell amazing and doesn't leave a noticeable white residue. Other than that though it is a pass. I will stick to my HG Batiste.
