A big nope

In my experience this product didn't work AT ALL, and possibly made my hair look worse. I have fine, tired hair by 'day two' and am used to using a dry shampoo occasionally between shampoos. I have given it a solid chance now and am temped to just throw the rest of the product away. It did not take away the slight oilness nor add volume. I am not a fan of the scent either - my 8 year old loves it and it does smell like cake or candy, but wouldn't work for scent-free workplaces.

Thought it would work better

Cake is a brand I enjoy, so I was excited to try this dry shampoo. Love the pink can, liked the sweet scent! I found it just didn't cut the oiliness. It seemed to weigh my hair down and looked even more oily. The price was double of others that work way better. I was shocked it performed poorly.

The Cake Volumizing Dry Shampoo Spray is one of the worst dry shampoos I have ever used. I have thick highlighted straight hair and I try to go 2-3 days without washing. I thought I would try this dry shampoo when I saw it was on sale at Shopper's. The packaging looked cute and the bottle contained a decent amount of product. The aerosol spray functioned well and coated my roots evenly with product. However, the smell was so sickly sweet and strong it gave me a headache as the day progressed. Moreover, I work in healthcare and am not allowed to wear scented products. Finally, it did not do a good job of absorbing extra oil from my hair. I am very disappointed in this product and threw it away without finishing it.
