Chicken(less) Chickpea Soup AKA Butter Chicken and Vegetable

This soup was very disappointing. I love butter chicken but this product tastes nowhere near butter chicken. It’s full of chickpeas and a soggy nondescript green vegetable. I found two 3/8” square pieces of chicken in the entire can. It also contained some carrots and small amount of red pepper. I mention that because it is advertised as butter chicken and vegetables.

This soup is dreadful!

Does Not taste Like Butter Chicken,.

Butter chicken as a soup? Count me in! After trying their Chicken Sausage Gumbo which is amazing, I thought I'd be brave and give this one a try. I was excited to taste it but alas.... I was ultimately disappointed as it didn't live up to its name. Had they called it Indian chickpea soup I would still have bought it and at least not been confused when it didn't taste like actual Butter Chicken.

It is a nice Indian-spiced soup with a lot of chickpeas. Doubtless very healthy due to all the fibre but I and my BF were disappointed as it tastes only vaguely of butter chicken. They really ought to have called it something else.
