Not as good as the cream of mushrooms or cream of chicken
IMO, the cream of celery is not as good as the cream of mushrooms (the OG) or the cream of chicken. The celery unfortunately lacks some flavour and the texture can get a bit too soggy when cooked. when made with water (as it says to), the soup tastes a little bland and watery, and the celery only accentuates that. Cooking it with a higher fat milk (2%+) does help add flavour, but pepper will also be your best friend for this soup (forgo the salt as it's salty enough)
I love celery, and I love this.Not only do I eat it in a mug with crackers, It's wonderful for making casseroles or even in meatloaves.I use it for many different meals. It;s even good mixed with macaroni
