Not as expected

I am a lover of ginger beer and unfortunately this missed the mark. It is more of a bitter ginger beer and not much flavor. The packaging is nice and the small bottles are a great size for a drink.

Good but not the best

Not bad for cocktails and mock tails, but not the best ginger beer out there. It’s easy to find and I buy it when they don’t have my go to brand. All over an OK product. I prefer my ginger beer to be stronger, but if you like a light ginger this could be a good one for you! #gotitforfree

Good taste

It was a good taste, lightly spiced with a refreshing finish. The bottles were quite small at 237ml coming in a pack of four. I received this free to review this product I don’t know if I would buy them again with the $6.99 price tag

Probably would not buy again

I received a coupon to get a free pack of the brand-new Canada Dry Premium's Ginger Beer. I was surprised that it was always sold out at my local Save On Foods(at $8,99 a pack of 4!), but was glad to find it at Fresco for less than $5,99 a pack. It is Naturally Flavoured with only a little carbonation. So little that it looks like pop/soda/softdrink gone flat. I also miss the "bite" of the ginger that I get from Stoney and Fever Tree ginger beer. With it being a holiday, not wanting to leave the house, I had to do with what I had at home, so no fresh limes :( And the icemaker and copper mugs are all packed up (big move ahead)

I love the glass bottle, and the shape of the bottle.
It tastes okay, but not what I was expecting, and for the price I probably would not buy this for myself on the regular.

It still doesn't replace my fave

I like a good ginger beer that has a bit of a burn to it but this one doesn't offer that feeling. I love the packaging and the way it looks expensive but I don't find that it taste very gingery. I think it's great for entertaining but I wouldn't get this on the regular

It was an ok drink

First of all i can say my experience with the ginger beer was an ok . It was hard to drink it at first as when I try it . I thought wow its spicy made me cough . But I didn't give up that easy as i gave it another try . Now I can say I like the taste and flavour . As you get used to the way the drink is . I found the sweetness was perfect . I would not buy this product.

I was hoping to like this Canada dry’s ginger beer. Thanks, chicksvisor, to sample this product. I am a regular Ginger beer drinker. I usually drink Fever tree ginger beer. Price is the same price point as the fever tree. Ingredients are very similar, but the Fever tree has actual ginger bits, which I like. Carbohydrates % is double in the Canada dry’s ginger beer. I would only buy this product if I could not find Fever tree’s ginger beer.

Interesting product for Canada Dry

Not bad tasting but didn't have enough ginger taste. Neat that Canada Dry offers premium products in glass bottles, but as a ginger beer I prefer Fever Tree. The ginger beer was also very hard to find - had to go to several stores to get it, but the tonic water was readily available

Meh

I received this product free for the purposes of reviewing it from Chick Advisor.

First thing, it’s a beautiful product. The glass bottles and carrying case present a very nice image, but is it worth $9 CAD for 4 bottles of pop? Short answer, no.

The taste is nice, and it’s sweetened with cane sugar (which might be why they decided on such a high price point for the product - but I’ve tried cane sugar soda from other brands for significantly less cost), but perhaps cans may bring the cost down.

Overall, I’m glad they were free. They tasted good but I wouldn’t ever purchase them, even on sale as I don’t believe they are worth the cost.

Sharp taste

I would recommend this product if you enjoy a crisp sharp taste. Canadian dry Ginger beer has a very crisp Ginger taste leaving the expected tingle that comes with a good ginger beer. Enjoy !
